Sai Settled My Brother’s Marriage – Anonymous Sai Devotee

Yesterday there was no post because there was a severe internet problem for whole day. So this post is October 3rd’s. I am sorry for inconvenience caused.

In this post today a sister is sharing her experience about how Lord Sai Baba settled his marriage.

The incident, I am going to narrate, is about my elder brother. He is of a very jolly nature and helpful to everyone whether you call him for help or not. Two years ago, his marriage got fixed with a very good girl belonging to a very good family. Everything went well and their marriage got fixed. They started talking on phone. On the fifth day, after their marriage got fixed, he suddenly started telling that he doesn’t want to marry to that girl giving the reasons that the family members pressurized him to agree for the marriage. We tried everything to convince him that the girl is very good and he should not behave like that. He started losing his health. At one point, his health was so serious that we were not able to decide what to do and how to make him recover. Things were going on like that and he stopped talking to the girl. He also stopped talking to the family members, not eating anything and was not ready to agree for marriage. As time passed, the engagement got broken and he started recovering very slowly. After about some months, he recovered.

Meanwhile, One day I was surfing the net and I started reading Sai Baba’s article on various blogs. I came across your blog and started reading the experiences. Many times I used to cry after reading the experiences. In many experiences, I came to know about Sai Satcharitra and I also wanted to read it. I started to read it from my office and completed the Saptahik Parayan and when I went to Sai temple, Sai gave me the opportunity to do His charan pooja along with other devotees.

I began to pray Sai, started chanting His name often. I asked Sai about my brother on the question answer site, and Sai answered that slowly all the things will be settled.

After some days, he (my brother) started telling my parents that they don’t care for him and he is getting aged and they are not looking for a girl for his marriage. Again, time passed and this year, on 5th of Feb, my family members along with my brother went to see a girl for him. He liked the girl and agreed. On 6th of Feb, we got the news that my eldest brother is blessed with a baby boy. But my brother (whom I am talking in this incident) was not that much happy and I was shocked to see that a person, who fire crackers when other’s child are born, is not happy about his own nephew. I was very afraid. I always tried to speak to him, tried to be frank with him and then he told me that he is not sure about this girl also. Many negative feelings developed inside him, like before. He started comparing this girl with others. They had already started talking on phone and the marriage was fixed. I told him that don’t worry and I prayed to Sai for him and Sai will do the best for him.

Now, he again started losing health and started telling my parents to marry him as early as possible. We tried to convince the girl’s parents that we want to settle the marriage early, but they were not agreeing as their elder daughter’s marriage was not fixed and they were looking a guy for her.

June started, and as we know, after June, for four months, no marriage can happen in Hindu traditions. Suddenly, on 11th of June, we got a call from the girl’s parents that they have found a guy for the elder daughter and if we want we can settle the marriage in June. My father asked everyone in the family and the date finalized was 27th June. We were so tensed that how will we make preparations, we started searching for marriage gardens, but we haven’t found any.

We went to the nearest garden (from our home) and found that it was not booked as some renovations are going on. The owner agreed and we got the garden. With Sai’s blessings, everything went very well and the marriage got over and my brother is also happy. My sister-in-law is also very friendly.

From the start to the end, whenever we needed, Sai was always there to help us. All the things got completed in a very well manner with the blessings of Sai. May Sai bless you all.

  13. Very nice experience! Although your brother was thinking he won't get married, Baba had other plans and it was Baba who arranged for mhis marriage. Although sometimes we feel like, why can't we marry the person whom we like, we should have Faith in Sai Baba, after all He is th true matchmaker and ensures that we have a happy life. Baba knows what is best for us and we should trust he will always do whatever is best for us. Om Sai Ram!

    Dear Sai Devotees,
    With the grace of Sai, Worshipping of Shirdi Baba is being done in a remote poor village at an abandoned govt official’s quarter. Baba came in dream to show this location for his worship to a devotee. This village Pallikanta in Ersama Taluk was infamous for 1999 super-cyclone in India’s East coast where more than 20,000 human and 1 million animal lost their life in of the worst natural disaster in human his story where tidal surge and high speed wind gale submerged the entire area for three 72 hours.
    Recently, following Baba’s presence in dream with a Sai Devotee, since July, 3 2012, Holy Guru Purnima Day, Baba is being worshipped here and people from nearby 20 km radius, throng to this dream shrine of Baba , though most of the inhabitants here are poor peasants, landless share croppers and daily wage earners in this remote coastal region of Odisha Province in India.
    Since that inception days of worship, devotees from far and wide have observed many miracles with them after visitng this Sai Darbar. Many people have recovered from blood and colon cancer, Kidney failure and other critical health disorders. Many people have been blessed with kith and kins’ marriage pending for more than a decade even. Many have got jobs. Many have got exemplary success in business etc after coming to this Sai Darbar. Everyday people have been thronging in hundreds for obeisance. On every Thursday, a special Anna Prasadam is distributed among hundreds of poor people, small children and this special prasadam are donated by devotees who realised Baba’s blessings for any positive results. Moreover, now this tiny village has become a busy place though the worship continues in that abandoned building.
    Now, a trust has been registered to give a legal sanctity. In this regard, in order to continue Narayan Prasad Seva and for daily rituals or honorarium of Priests etc. Some money is required. Recently, a local poor devotee being inspired by Baba’s blessings donated a piece of land 2400 sq ft to the Sai trust for temple construction. But, we need some money to construct a temple. Hence, requesting all to donate generously as per one’s ability.
