Baba Held My Back, When I Gave Up On Life

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: In a 30-year-old widowed girl, who is alive only due to Baba’s grace and blessings. I’ve been a devout follower of Baba since October 2016, after He showed me His presence and held my hand tightly through all trials and tribulations. Even though I got widowed at 29, I’ve been through domestic violence, emotional, mental and financial abuse in the hands of my now late husband and in-laws. I kept on sharing my experiences on this website, almost every time Baba became my savior. At last, Baba took my late husband away, after I couldn’t bear the pain.

Moving on to this year, I had lost all faith in humanity and finding love or getting married again after going through unbearable pain in the last 5 years – my in-laws didn’t return the jewelry gifted to me by my parents and took away all my money and home I built with my own money. With Baba’s grace, I had the courage to move on, build my confidence and life from scratch with the help of my amazing family and friends. Every time I felt like crying, I heard Baba say, “Ro le, par yad rakh, main hun tere sath” (Cry but remember that am there with you).

I used to keep asking Him for answers through prashanavalli and He always replied saying, “Don’t worry, you will be blessed with ample food, money and clothing”; “marriage will be arranged amongst relatives”; “someone will come from outstation” and nothing happened instantly (we humans expect Baba to do everything instantly, and I admit I was being an impatient fool).

I started losing faith in Baba even after knowing that He brought me out of hell. I felt I was better-off without Baba. I drifted away into my sadness thinking I won’t ever be able to settle down. I went for my best friend’s wedding in January and lost Baba’s locket there. I thought Baba really left me. In all these trying times, my job and family were the only things keeping me sane and on 8th of Feb, I had a huge argument with my boss and decided to quit. That day was my breaking point and I decided never to pray to Baba ever again.

The next day, I was supposed to meet my dad’s friend’s son, who was settled in New Zealand. He was not married before, was well-settled and just 3 years elder to me. I thought why a well-settled, well-educated and a good-looking boy from a good family would be interested to meet a widow? I had lost my confidence. (I’m well-qualified, well settled and at a good position, but I felt weak and helpless) but still went to meet him. Surprisingly, the meeting went on for 5 hours and after meeting again twice, our match was decided.

We got engaged on 1st of March this year and everything was going well until the lockdown happened. My fiancé is stuck here since March and this made him frustrated and angry, which led to an argument and not so pleasant words were exchanged between us on the night of 29th June, Monday.

For the first time since we met, we didn’t speak for 3.5 days. I got really worried and started questioning Baba on the prashanavali since yesterday and He told me, “You will get success at a mile from your home, even though you will have to take a little physical effort” apart from other answers which assured me that everything will be alright. I didn’t go yesterday as I was a bit lazy but today, I decided to believe in Baba and in the evening went to Baba’s temple near my house. I asked Baba for forgiveness for losing faith in Him and not being a good child as I used to be before. I urged Baba to calm my fiancé, fill his heart with love and save this relationship as we both loved each other. I promised Baba to share my experience on this website, Baba’s page on Instagram, feed 10 unfortunate people and make sheera for Baba and bring it to the temple. As promised, I am sharing my experience here. I went to the temple at 7 and lo and behold! With Baba’s grace and blessing, my phone rang at 9:30 pm! My fiancé was very polite, calm and sounded worried for me. I spoke to him politely (as promised to Baba) and we are meeting tomorrow for a small religious ceremony at my home.

Dear devotees, I cannot explain the calm I felt after my visit to the temple. I realised how emotionally, mentally and physically stable I feel whenever I’m close to Baba. Doing Satcharitra’s parayan, loving Baba and being in His sharan changed us internally. I feel so pathetic for missing out on all this joy and happiness in all the time I was away from Baba! All I know is, Baba is life, Baba is love and Baba is everything!

Baba Cured My Daughter’s Headache

I have been blessed to share many experiences here, related to Udi. I would like to share another miracle.

Since last 3-4 days, my daughter has been complaining of a very bad headache, it was coming on and off. I gave her Udi with water and put Udi on her forehead. Even after putting Udi and giving her Udi with water (as I do every day), she still had headache on and off for next 2 days. I was constantly praying to Baba to cure her. I took this as an indication from Baba to add more Udi. So in the morning gave her water with more Udi mixed in it and she did not have any headache rest of the day.

Udi is the best medicine and Baba is our divine healer. It is also amazing how Baba communicates to His devotees and gives instructions in various forms.

Sai Baba’s Help

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: I had a very bad headache. I prayed Baba for relief. I was not able to sleep because of extremely bad head ache. But as I was not able to sleep I was having worst head ache. The situation was inexplicable and seemed to be a dead lock. No sleep – head ache and as head ache – No sleep. I was then around in 30’s and had no such medication as such but still urged my husband to give me sleeping pills or take me to a doctor for some injection to get sleep. My husband was shocked to know all this as I am a person who will not have any medicines easily and not even pain killers ever. He agreed to take me to the hospital. He is very loving and caring and even tried to press my head in different ways but it did not help. I think if not wrong two days had passed like this. Then I prayed Baba and He rescued me. No medicines and I had a sound sleep with Baba’s grace. I think my husband had vowed to do a saptah parayan for me(not very sure as its long time back). But I remember this much that with Baba’s grace only I could sleep and my head ache had also gone after waking up. Thank You Baba. Jai Sairam.

Yesterday I was very worried as she was not answering my call. She had gone out in the morning and it was late night and still she hadn’t called me after coming home. I live in another country. My worry was unbearable. I called the caretaker and finally got to know that she was fine. Her network was also down so she called much later. Thank You Baba for being with my mother. Sai Baba Helped Me In Getting My Visa

Everything was good but suddenly I started facing lot of issues with the documents required for Visa and things started getting delayed and there was a chance of missing the opportunity.
