A Couple of Sai Baba Experiences – Part 2007

Helping A Struggling Student

I have always grown up around Sai Baba but I have become a stronger devotee of Sai for the past 5 years. Sai gave me entry into a highly selective and prestigious medical program when I was 17 years old. I was so lucky to have gotten admission amongst so many more talented students. I was overjoyed but I struggled academically once I got into the program because of anxiety and mild depression that I had developed during my 2nd year of college. I was almost dismissed from the program and every semester of college was extremely stressful as I had to repair the damage I had done early on in college. Baba helped me pull through every single semester.

In America, students have to take the MCAT test to gain admission into medical school. My program had a certain requirement that I needed to meet to continue in the program and gain enrolment in medical school. This test is difficult and requires weeks of preparation. The first time I took this test I scored 1 point below my requirement and thus I had to take it again. I went through more weeks of stress and took the test a 2nd time. Again unfortunately I scored 1 point below my score cut off requirement. All I had left was one more chance or I would get kicked out of the program and would never be able to fulfil my lifelong dream of going to a medical school. I prayed and prayed and read Sai Satcharitra and did the 9 weeks Vrat. I was so nervous before my test and I put all my faith in my Lord for 8 hours when I took the test on my last chance. MCAT results take 1 month to be released. That one month was the worst month of my life because I was constantly worried about what would happen.

On the day the test results were released, I drove straight to the temple and opened them in the presence of my favourite divine person in the world. He performed a miracle for me. I would be able to go to medical school because I got the score I needed on my very last chance. I would be able to live out my dream. Fast forward a year later, I am now a first year medical student at a wonderful wonderful medical school that was better than anything I had dreamed of. It was a little difficult for me to adjust to the large amount of material and all of the studies I had to do. I performed below average but my school is on a pass/fail system and I ultimately passed the first round of exams (2 months ago). This week we had our 2nd round of exams. I had studied more and prepared more for these finals exams.

The next day after my final, the dean of the medical school called me and told me that I had failed all of my exams. I was devastated. I had studied harder but I still failed. He called me on Wednesday night and I had 1 remaining final on Friday morning. He told me if I failed the exam on Friday, I would be dismissed from medical school. I had to get a 75 on the exam on Friday to pass the semester or I would leave my dream medical school forever. He told me I could take a leave for 1 year and redo the semester or I could take the risk of dismissal and take the exam. I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t focus on studying after such a shock. I did not want to fail and destroy my entire life. But I had a small amount confidence in myself because I had studied and learned something in past 6 months and I had been saved from do or die situations before. I panicked and cried and didn’t know what to do. I called my parents and my mentor. My parents were worried and they made me consider taking a gap year instead of risking taking the exam. My mentor helped me deal with the entire situation and encouraged during every phone call. I called her 5 times in 2 days and had many long conversations with her. She believed in me and told me I could do it and pass. She had confidence in me that I did not have myself.

I was still worried and met with my dean in person on Thursday. He told me to study more but was optimistic about me taking the exam on Friday. Still, I was very nervous about my exam on Friday. My mom told me to talk to a professor who made the exam and grades the exam. I did not want to because I did not think it would help my situation but I listened to my mom and talked to the professor. The professor had Baba in him and he encouraged me so much and told me to take the exam instead of taking a gap year. He told me to just answer every question and get a good night sleep. I couldn’t handle the situation and started crying in his office while I talked to him. After our meeting, he even emailed me saying good luck. I regained my confidence, visited my Baba and studied all night Thursday. I took my exam this morning. I read this blog before I began my exam because this blog has been such a blessing and gives me so much strength during all of the difficult times in my life. The exam was not difficult and I will make above 75. There were no topics that I did not know about and Baba kept me strong for the whole 3 hours of the exam. I will pass this exam because of Baba.

All of my mentors and my parents that helped me these past few days have Sai Baba in them and I am so so blessed to have them in my life. I would not be able to do it without them. Baba guided me through a terrible terrible situation. I do not have my grade yet but Baba has taken me through so many obstacles during my journey to medical school. I am fully confident He will help me overcome this burden. He did not give me admission at the age of 17 to take it away from me 5 years later after I had already started medical school. He is doing this to make me a stronger and better doctor and making me become the best human I can become. I went through all of this pain, panic and anxiety and I came out with a strong relationship with my Baba and realized how many amazing people are in my life and the value of everything that I have. Thank You Baba. I love You so much. You are the best thing in my life.

Chanting Sai Baba’s Name Would Solve All The Problems

Many thanks to Hetal ji for giving us a great opportunity not only to share our experiences but also know the experiences of other devotees. Today, I want to share one of my experiences. Me and my husband are doctors from India, currently living in United Kingdom. We lived in Singapore sometime back but unfortunately we were not happy there. I couldn’t get any job. My husband faced many health issues and also problems in his work place. My daughter also had to undergo bullying in the school and was so depressed. Someone advised us it could be due to Vastu Dosh, but unfortunately we could not move to other house, so continued to stay in the house. I spent the whole time there, chanting Sai Baba’s name, just to overcome the bad phase of life.

One good day my husband came up with the idea of moving to UK as he felt it would be a better place to live, but I was bit anxious as everything would be new there. Finding a new house, new school and new friends may not be very easy in a completely new country for a person like me. I had put everything in Sai Baba’s hand and just continued to chant Sai Maa’s name. We went back to India and from there applied for visa. At this time, a friend of mine advised us to apply the council in UK for joining the school before hand. As a miracle, there was only one school available and luckily that was near to my husband’s hospital and also it was an outstanding school. One problem got solved. Soon it was time to leave to UK and we were at the airport standing in the queue for check in. When it was our turn, we realised we had 22 Kgs extra and the person there asked us to put it in the bin. I was so confused and anxious not knowing what items to remove in such a short time or otherwise I would have to pay a great amount and was also afraid that my husband would become furious. The only thing that came to my mind was Sai Baba and I sincerely prayed Him to overcome this circumstance.

Seeing my agony, the person in the check- in counter asked me not to remove anything but allowed the whole luggage even without taking any payment. I was surprised at this incident and strongly felt that I have to share this with all my devotee friends, so I am sharing now. We landed in UK and found a house on the next day which was just few steps away from the school. This house was very much in accordance with the Vastu science and also was fully furnished with even a dishwasher and tumble drier. We could happily get into the house without any further investments. Everything went on so well without any trouble. Much adored, our child is building more and more confidence every day. She won a prize in story writing competition within 2 months of joining the school. She is able to communicate more easily and now is a very energetic girl both mentally and physically. We are very grateful to Baba for giving us a new start. Baba, please be with me all the time and also help me to advance spiritually. Thanks to everyone.

My Sai Baba Experiences

I would like to thank Hetal Sister and her team for this opportunity to write about my experiences with Sai Baba. He has helped me in many different ways throughout my life and I cannot express how much He means to my family and myself. My family and I have been to Sai Baba temple many times and love to visit and pray to Sai Baba whenever we have the opportunity.

Experience 1: I injured my ankle a few months ago very badly where I was on crutches for a few weeks. My mom prayed to Sai Baba and placed Udi on my ankle to receive Sai Baba’s blessings that it will heal without surgery or any major problems. After continuous prayer by both my mother and I, my ankle healed to normal. Thanks to Baba’s grace and blessings. I want to thank Baba for helping me.

Experience 2: I am a college student and was struggling in my Bio class at school. I needed a very good grade on my final exam to receive an “A” in the class. However, when the grade was given to me I did not get a good score. I believed that I actually did much better on the exam than the score that I had received. I prayed to Sai Baba many times and needed His blessings in order to help me improve my grade. I sent my teacher an email to see what I could do to improve my grade and I found out that she made a mistake with my final exam grade. I actually got a good score and thanks to Sai Baba’s blessing, I was able to earn an “A” in the class. Sai Baba has protected me and my family in many situations and many times without Him we would not be where we are right now. Sai Baba is very important to us and we thank You Baba for helping my family and me and all the Baba’s devotees. Om Sai Ram.

Baba’s Miracles

I never thought that this soon I will share my experience. Thanks, Hetal ji for giving me the opportunity to share the experiences happened only because of Sai Baba.

Experience 1: Past 4 years I am working in MNC company but I don’t like that job and atmosphere due to family situation I must work there but last month I prayed to Baba to please help me. Within December 2017 I wanted new job, please help me Baba. What a miracle of Baba, within a month I got job only because of Sai. Past 4 years I was trying for Job but didn’t get, I went for many interviews but did not get selected. Now I got this job with Baba’s blessings. Thank You so much Baba, we want Your blessings always.

Experience 2: Suddenly one day my legs and neck got swelling and there was so much pain but I didn’t know the reason. I didn’t go to hospital. Baba’s Udi is my medicine. Daily I had taken some pinch of Udi with water, this was only my medicine. Within a week my pain was relieved. Whatever difficulties are there in my life, I hope Baba will solve all my problems.

Experience 3: Whenever I feel want to see Baba’s face, at that time I can able to see in autos, in buses as posters or anyway and anytime. I feel these things are also our Baba’s miracles only. Baba will appear in anywhere and anytime. Thanks, is a word not enough to You Baba, please keep blessing us and never leave my hand. Not only this many times Baba has helped me. God’s Grace

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from USA says: I am a normal devotee, but I always believe in hurt never and help ever. Jai Sai Baba, in my life I experienced numerous miracles of God, one thing I strongly believe that if you help someone and do good things then you will be always protected by God. I would like to share my experience, my parents went to Tirupathi to chant Vishnu Sahasranaam in the temple for 5 days. One day my father all of a sudden had a chest pain, immediately they went to local Tirumala hospital, where they did ECG, and the report was normal. So they prescribed some gastric medicines and asked him to take rest.

Again next day he got chest pain, so they came to Tirupathi and admitted to a hospital, where ECG report showed some signs and even on blood test also positive. Immediately they started treatment. For better treatment, we decided to join in Apollo, where they diagnosed some blocks on the valves and treated blocked blood vessels with stents. Now he is recovering by the grace of Baba and every one of the Gods. My sincere request to all, whether anyone suffering from the right or left chest pain then take him to the cardiologist first. Despite the fact that it’s gastric pain, then don’t hesitate to take second doctor’s opinion before going home. Since the valve blocks are not just because of bad habits, diabetic, high cholesterol or high B.P, there are numerous other reasons for blockages. So I would request you to please don’t neglect any time. Thanks for your time. Do good things, Baba will shield your family. Love you all, God bless you all.

Shirdi Darshan

Shirdi Sai Sister Neelima from India says: Om Sai Ram to all. I am lacking with words to share this wonderful experience with Lord Sai. I wholeheartedly wanted to go to Shirdi and for Darshan of our Sai. I planned accordingly managing my leaves and my family. Papa wanted to help his best friend’s marriage and was not able to make out. Slowly the plan dropped and we could not make to Shirdi. I was very disappointed and broken. After few days I got a call from my sister that she was coming from Mumbai and wanted me to pick her up. They had already planned for Shirdi and I also got the opportunity to go. Darshan was very Nice. I felt very calm post that. Hoping I will get to share many more experiences. Om Sai Ram.
