Power Of Sai Baba’s Udi

Many devotees have shared their valuable experiences here regarding miraculous power of Sai Baba’s Udi and I would also like to add my own experience to this archive of miracles which I experienced few months ago. A little background before I narrate our Baba’s leela. Recently my brother got married and my parents’ and girl’s side family went to our family deity temples. They were about 20 people. Unfortunately, I could not join them. While they were returning, my mother called and asked me to prepare dinner for them as they got delayed and by the time they reach, it would be late night and the restaurants might be closed. We are totally 4 in the family both in my parent’s side and my in-laws’ side. So I know the estimate to cook for a small family of 4 but cooking for about 20 adults started to stress me out. I spoke to our neighbour aunty and asked her help to estimate cooking for 20 people. Then she and I decided that we will make only lemon rice for dinner. She asked me to start cutting the vegetables and she would come and measure the rice when she would join me later.


As instructed, I started preparing for making lemon rice. Our neighbour aunty had experienced cooking for large family so I started feeling comfortable when she told she would help me. She came and we prepared the lemon rice as we planned earlier and she felt that whatever measurement of rice she cooked would be enough for about 20 people. After she left, I saw the amount of food and felt that there may be shortage as all adults would be having dinner and normally adults tend to eat more. It would really be a shame for our family including me in front of the girl’s family if there was any shortage of food. The thought of this started stressing me more and I didn’t know what to do. Suddenly a thought came in my mind to sprinkle our Sai Baba’s Udi asking for His help in matter. My only prayer was that ‘Baba, all people should eat this lemon rice to their fullest and there should not be any shortage of food. There should not be any disgrace to my family’. After telling this prayer, I sprinkled Udi in the lemon rice keeping faith in Baba. Both my parents and girl’s side family returned around 11 pm and had lemon rice for dinner. Girl’s side was praising the taste of the lemon rice but in my hearts I was thanking that aunty.

After everyone finished their dinner, the container was still looking full even after everyone had dinner. We had the same food for next day’s lunch and even dinner too as both families (mine and girl’s side) did not want to waste it. My mother was surprised to see that we, around 21 people (including me) had eaten the same lemon rice thrice (dinner, next day lunch and dinner again) and she asked me about the measurement. When I told her that aunty had suggested that we cook only 3 cups (1 cup=8 oz) for 20 adults and that’s we did. Hearing this, my mother was even more surprised that how 3 cups of only lemon rice was being carried over the 2 days. I told my mother my worry that after seeing the quantity of cooked rice and sprinkling of Baba’s Udi in the rice and how Baba had answered my prayers. My mother and I thanked Baba for His miracle. It was indeed Baba’s Udi and leela that increased the quantity of rice and He made sure we all ate the food to our fullest three times. After learning our Baba’s miracle, both my mother and I remembered the story of mentioned in Sai Satcharitra as to how around 300 people ate food when it was cooked only for 100 people. This is indeed Sai Baba’s leela He safeguarded my family’s respect. Jai Sai Ram!

Dear devotees, requesting you all to pray to Baba on my behalf so that He can bless me and my husband with a healthy baby soon. I don’t know why He is not blessing us with baby despite of completion of Nav Guruwar Vrat two times. Baba, please listen to my prayers and I shall spread Your miracles again on this website.

Baba Protected Me

Anonymous Sai Devotee from US says: I am a devotee living in the US for over 14 years. This is my 6th experience. I have gone to Shirdi many times and have done Thursday 9 Guruvar vrat since past 5 years or so.

I want to write about an experience that happened last year. I used to work for a big company. I got laid off from job in Aug 2016 and they said that I had access to company network for a month. In that time you could look for jobs and be an employee and help in transition. So in Sept when I went to return my laptop and badge to my manager, he told me that there was a problem that the IT had sent him an email saying that I had downloaded many documents on my computer and they wanted to know why I did so? I told him that I downloaded those as I had worked on some of those projects and others I downloaded for reference. I also told him that they were still in the Mac that I returned. He said that he had forwarded my email to the IT and legal department and that I should soon hear back from them.

I was so tensed that I could not sleep at all that day. I just prayed and prayed to Baba. Every time I would ask the question in the Q & A site, Baba would say that ” don’t worry everything would be alright. And after 13 days or so I received an email from the legal counsel or attorney that what I had downloaded and what I had planned to do with those documents? She also wanted to know that I was under those proprietary information protection agreement that meant I couldn’t use it or show it to any competitor. I had absolutely no intention of doing that. So I emailed her back and also called her and told her that I had worked in this company for 6 years and why would I do something like this. I also told her that I had not shared the information with anyone and it was all there in the Mac that I returned. She said that she would send me some forms which I needed to sign and then she would close the case. I waited for her to send me those forms which she never did and now the case is closed. Om Sai Ram.

Baba’s Blessings

Sai Devotee Uma Srinivasan from India says: I know a woman in Coimbatore who was married for eight years. And unfortunately she couldn’t bear a child. She and her husband left no stone unturned. She visited every possible doctor for their treatment and they were told by every doctor that this particular woman had a problem to conceive. This girl’s husband being the only son for their parents, they got disappointed with their abrupt seize of the legacy. His parents forced him to apply for divorce and get remarried so that their family heir would grow. Hesitantly the man sent a legal divorce notice to the girl.

Where in this, shattered the peace of the girl’s side. Then, to their goodness girls ‘mother got to meet a Sai devotee at her place who suddenly came into their life. After a long hesitation, she confessed about her daughter’s plight to that Sai devotee.
Something struck the Sai devotee’s mind and he took a small picture of Sai Baba from his wallet and gave that lady and asked her to chant the four line Om Sai Namo Namaha throughout.

After three months the Sai devotee got a call from this particular lady saying that her daughter was pregnant and that divorce case had been withdrawn. She wanted to disclose this Happy News to this man first. That girl delivered a baby girl and named her Sai Sherya. The Sai devotee and his wife went for naming ceremony, held the baby in their arms with eyes filled with tears. Sai Sherya is 4 years old now. Going to play school in Coimbatore and living happily with her parents and grand parents.

The Sai devotee man was none other than my Father who lives in Coimbatore.

My Baba’s Mercy On Me

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am one of Baba’s daughter living every moment of my life by His grace. If there is any little happiness in my life it’s because of His mercy on me.

Coming to my recent experience, my father is in very bad condition due to neurological problem. He often shouts and quarrels with others especially with his elder brother who is a father figure for us and we owe lot to him. This April, he with his family was supposed to come down to our native place. I was really praying very much to Baba to control the situation. I was really scared as to how the situation would be at home. But eventually I left everything at His feet. Miracle happened my uncle couldn’t come at the last moment. Baba how shall I praise Your mercy? Not only that He solved the electricity problem. I prayed Him that he should stop one of our family friend from coming at night. Baba You made that also possible for this daughter of Yours. You cured my fever. At last I came back happily as I had prayed. You brought us back safely.

Baba, my earnest prayer now is please make my father healthy. They should go back without any problems or any tension. He should improve by the time he goes back. Please Baba, we should come to Shirdi happily and put 108 around Gurusthan happily and thanking You for Your grace. Baba Blessed Me With Good Life Partner And Good Job

Coming to my experience, basically my mother is a big devotee of Baba, seeing her I too followed Baba. I read Sai Satcharitra, Sai Leela Amrutham whenever I get time. Every time Baba gave me what I wished. He gave me the best life partner, my marriage is a love and arranged marriage, both of our families are very happy by seeing us. This is all happened because of Baba every day every minute He is there with me.

Coming to my second wish regarding my job then Baba gave that thing too, to me. Recently I was placed in top MNC because of Baba only. I am happy for that but one sad thing is that mine and my husband’s locations are different. I work in Hyderabad and he works in Chennai. Now my wish for Baba is please Babaji give me transfer for Chennai, because Chennai is near to my home town and his home town too. Finally I need to say one thing to all devotees trust Baba completely He knows what suits us. He will definitely give the best to His devotees, just leave all the things to Him and pray Him with complete Shraddha and Saburi.

Baba Saved Me

Om Sai Ram. Recently Baba saved me from one problem at my work place. I was very scared and thought I will have some problem with my colleague due to differences in opinion. I had also made a minor mistake but that was nothing to be made a big issue. I kept praying to Baba to save me and by Baba’s blessing, there was no problem and everything turned out to be fine. As per my promise I am sharing my experience. Also thank You million times for fulfilling my other wishes and for taking care of me and my mother. Sai Samrath.
