Sai Baba Is Still Alive

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: Hi everyone, I am from India and a Baba’s devotee. This would be my fifth experience here. Today I would be telling you how I became more close to Baba, my Guru.

One day, I was going through this blog, and in one of the post I came across a book name “Sai Baba Is Still Alive”. Little did I know then that this book would change my way of thinking towards Baba. I am a devotee of Baba since 9 years. Like every other Baba’s devotee, even I am totally dependent on Him. It was on October 2nd, I was going through worst phases of my life. Unknowingly or knowingly, a problem was with me since 8 years of my life (still it is). Coming to the book, the moment I read about the book, I had a deep urge to read it. By Baba’s grace, I could get it on my phone (kindle app) on the same day and immediately I started reading it. Page by page, it took me through Sai world. The writer describes perfectly how our relation with Baba (our Guru) should be.

From the day I started reading it, I started experiencing Baba never like before. Just to narrate one instance, in my dream I had clearly seen a book which was named as “A Shri Sai Satcharitra”(though the book cover was different to Sai Baba Is Still Alive book). Next day when I woke up, I wondered if Baba wants me to read Sai Satcharitra. But then I asked Baba, if He wants me to read the book, then I have to see it again in my dream. If that is not the case then I would come to a conclusion that the book I am reading currently is equivalent to Sai Satcharitra (because it has letter ‘A’ written before “Shri Sai Satcharitra”). I didn’t get the dream again, so Baba confirmed the latter one. Now I am a far better child of Baba. This book has marked a new change in me. Thank You Jaya Wahi and Baba. I suggest everyone here to read the book atleast once.

The more we are connected to Baba, the more we experience Him. If Baba is besides us, it doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be any problems. There are problems for everyone but Baba gives us the strength to move with our life amidst the problems. He is the only ray of hope in our lives. Just one sincere prayer to Him, He will be beside us to fight against the world. “Let The World Turn Tipsy-Topsy, But You Remain Where You Are And Put Firm Faith In Me”, how beautiful these words are. There is lot of inner meaning here. One thing for us to understand is everything is in Baba’s hands, and nothing can happen without His consent (He is above everything). So if we love Him wholeheartedly and ask Him to stand by us (just pray for strength), there the magic begins. Baba is everything to us- be a father, mother, brother, sister, lover, anything it can be. The bond which we share with Baba is permanent and it is beyond life and death. So, instead of asking for worldly happiness, let us ask for inner spiritual growth. Let us make Him the sole object of our thoughts. Remember one thing, if not for Baba then who else will look after us. What we are experiencing today in our lives is only because of our past karmas (good or bad). The writer in the book wonderfully quotes about charity and good deeds, how they drastically change our lives and future course, how they can wash away our bad karmas. By doing charity work, we are actually doing good to ourselves, because what we receive depends on what we give. Charity should be a selfless act. Baba says, “Do not give because you have in excess, but try to give with love even when you are left with few morsels”. As we crave for Baba’s attention and love, even He craves for our love. Let’s be madly in love with Him and let He be above all our relations in our life.

Few days back, I realized that He is my Guru. It was a very wonderful feeling. I am still in worst phase of my life but my Baba is carrying me in His beautiful arms and assuring me every time that He is with me. Whenever I am in a bad mood, He soothes me in some way or other and brings me back to normal. I request everyone who is reading this post to read the book, “Sai Baba is Still Alive”. It will definitely change you to a better child of Baba. Om Sri Sairam!

Unexpected Visit To Shirdi

Sai Devotee Rachana from India says: I had heard a lot of Baba’s miracle stories from many people but most from my cousin and my best friend but I was neutral about the views as I wasn’t much experienced in all these. But my Shirdi visit proved the views as positive. I am not sure whether it is logical or what but it was finally Sai Baba’s grace.

The thing that happened was I had been to Baba’s Mandir with my friends several times and had experienced peace of mind and relaxation and I loved the divine place. Then by God’s grace we had to leave for Pune for my cousin’s engagement and my uncle made a plan that we will go to Shirdi, but we did not get the right information and so we enquired many of the guests there but nothing helped us as such we thought about till night. Then on the day of my cousin’s engagement one of my maternal uncle (mom’s cousin) told that we can club the tour as they too had planned the same. I was worried about the night journey by thinking of the journey strains and there was also a problem in booking a van. Then by God’s grace my uncle had got a TT for 10 of us and we could manage and boarded a TT at night after bidding a goodbye to my uncle, aunt, other guests, my cousin, brother-in-law and his relatives.

It was a night journey and we started our journey, throughout which we enjoyed and had slept for some distance and our driver woke us up and it was early morning when we reached Shirdi. The first thing we heard was Sai chants which were divine and this was like a welcome to us. Then after the darshan my maternal grandfather went missing and all were scared and searched everywhere but we didn’t get him. We all were literally scared and began searching in every direction but couldn’t find him we were all were literally very tensed and I was thinking Baba what happened please save us? But the elders tried to comfort us (younger set). Then we just wandered around in cold and we just came to the entrance with elders as mom and my aunt went to get the digital camera and mobiles from the cloak room. It was an hour now and we were waiting I just remembered God and lifted my bent head and once I turned my head I saw him coming with my uncle and my cousins shouted as “grandfather came”! It was literally a miracle and eye wash to all. Then my mom and my aunt came from cloak room and they were literally surprised with the miracle and due to God’s grace we all had darshan before 8am. Then we realised that my grandfather came slowly and was stuck in a queue and he came late and Baba had made such unexpected miracles from night to day and my uncle and aunt also celebrated their wedding anniversary on the same day and it was such a divine start what more can a couple ask on their anniversary! Then we made our trips to other places also and it was a wonderful experience.

Babaji Cured My Mother

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: Om Sairam. Namaste Hetalji. Sairam everyone. I am a simple housewife. I was dragged towards Babaji in 2010(during my first trip to Shirdi). Since then I can feel Baba’s presence in every step of my life. But due to my schedule I forgot Him for some time. After my marriage in 2012 I again remembered my Sai and He came without any delay.

Here is my experience- my mother used to be heavy in weight and diabetic too because of which her legs lost sensation. She was unable to walk properly. This incidence really made us cry as my mother is the lifeline of us. I always used to be worried about her health as she could not continue dieting and also unable to do exercise. Her weight was really an issue. I used to cry in front of Sai Baba and ask for His mercy to cure my mumma as I wish to see her enjoying her life. My mom prays to Sai Baba but is not a staunch devotee. But for me Sai Baba is my Saviour. One fine day a thought came in my mind and I started applying Udi on my forehead on behalf of my mumma. After 10-15 days of it I was reading an experience of a devotee who did the same for her mother. She also applied Udi on her forehead on behalf of her mother. What a coincidence! It was a hint by Sai Baba that He is going to cure my mumma soon.

After few days my uncle suggested my mumma to consult another doctor in his town. My mom dad immediately agreed. I prayed to Sai Baba “please Baba You should treat my mumma in form of that doctor” and after starting medication from that doctor my mumma started recovering. And the most surprising thing is that my mom lost almost 25 kgs in less than a year, it seemed to be impossible for my mom to lose weight as she was not able to walk, dieting and exercise. But after I started applying Udi on my forehead on her behalf, everything changed. My mom’s life took a U-turn. I strongly believe it was Baba Who treated my mom. Now I am waiting for another wish to be fulfilled. I know Babaji will soon fix it. I will surely post it once it will be fixed by Sai Baba. Thanks for reading devotees. Om Sairam.

Sai’s Blessings For My Health Issue

The Patience and Faith of all devotees are answered and it really increases our faith towards Him. Thank you Hetalji for maintaining such a wonderful site. And thanks to all devotees for sharing your experiences.

For past few weeks I have been having some health issues and I was really scared of it. So I made an appointment to doctor’s office as early as possible. But I started to pray to Sai with faith that there should not be any serious problems. The day for check up came and I was scared a lot. Through few examinations doctors cleared that there were no big issues but needed to go for an blood test. Again I trusted my only Sai and went for the same. I waited for two weeks for results. By that time I was continuously praying that nothing should be wrong. And with the second appointment with doctor, he said there were no issues at all and my blood work seems good enough. I was literally happy to hear that. She gave me supplements for few reasons and nothing else. Sai was always there with me. All these made me to realize how caring Sai is. He always protects us. He knows everything about us. And He will surely take care. Sainath I blindly believe You and there are no words to explain it .

I have a small request to You regarding my Husband’s work. He is facing a lot of trouble for sometime. Please make him to settle in project and a place where he wishes. I sincerely pray for him to You Baba. I know You will do but its a small request and prayers from my side. It is spoiling his health and mind. Always worried and tensed about his project. Please take care, Baba. And Bless all of us.

Ever Grateful To Baba

Anonymous Sai Devotee from UK says: I am a very small devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba. I live in UK from past 8 years. I came in contact with Baba right from the time I opened my eyes in this world. My experience is about my job.

I was not happy with my current job and thought that I should change it ASAP. In that haste, I applied for another job and got it within a week. I had to resign from my old job. When I joined the new work place then I came to know about all the politics at that place and also that they do not pay on time. I was very stressed after my first day there. I prayed to Baba to please help me and repented for my impatience. Baba being so merciful, changed the whole scenario where my old work place let me continued and was able to cons out of the new work place at amicable terms, that too within a day. If may sound easy but was very difficult. I thank Baba from bottom of my heart. Om Sai Ram.

Sai’s Presence Felt

Sai Devotee Thilagavathy from India says: My experience is about how Sai relieved me from problems. I did not believe in God till last month. My life had lots of struggle, but had a good married life. But recently only I got to know my husband (don’t want to call him like this) has cheated me and has married another girl. My mom is not alive and no support from my family too. Later heard about Sai, went to Sai Temple. Now I am in 9 Thursday vrat which helps me a lot. I feel happy now, even when no one is there for me. Sai is with me and always guiding me. Om Sai.
