Why Fear When Sai Is Near

My humble pranam at His lotus feet. Blessed are those who experience Baba’s grace on them, and I am indeed fortunate to feel His blessings on me. Though there are innumerable instances when Baba has showered His grace upon me and my family, this instance is a little recent one and so I am sharing it first.

I distinctly remember the day, it was 5th October 2020 and both of us, my husband and I, were busy working from home. Our children were attending their online classes. I was taking my last class for the day around noon and had planned to go out to buy vegetables after my classes that ended at 12:50 p.m. It was a quiet, peaceful, winter morning; a day when you feel all is going smoothly. Suddenly the doorbell shrieked and the society guard came and enquired if the white Creta car standing under the shade of the Gulmohar tree in the apartments was ours. When I replied in the affirmative, he revealed that the tree had fallen on the car and the car had been damaged.

My husband and son rushed downstairs and reported that the damage was way beyond what had been reported. A huge tree branch had come crashing down on our car, crushing the roof of the car, shattering the entire wind screen, breaking the glove compartment, shattering the rear view mirror, side view mirrors and smashing the entire dashboard. A huge branch had crashed on the bonnet piercing it sharply into the radiator and engine.

It was a damage that appeared beyond repair and if possible, costing a lot of money. We prayed to Baba that He takes care of the situation. By His grace, the car was taken to the workshop and took around 4 weeks to be repaired. The car insurance covered the repair costs that were hefty. When I went to the repair shop to get the car home, I asked for Baba’s photo that I always kept on the dashboard of the car. The mechanic handed me His photo. The minute I took Sai’s photo in hand, I immediately felt His presence with me, telling me that all is well.

I thought of what would have happened if I was in the car? He took all the weight of the tree branch on Him and saved me and the car. Everyone who met me after the incident was shocked to hear how a long standing tree could fall on the car, damage it alone and nothing else on the way! What was even more shocking was the fact that the car engine was safe inspite of such a huge crash. Most importantly, I could have been inside the car. It was like Baba was sending a message to me, Why fear when I am near?

Truly, He takes care of all who submit themselves completely at His lotus feet. He was telling me to give up moh (attachment) of things. I don’t know His ways and do not want to know those. I know that He is there and He will always catch me in His arms whenever I am falling. Like a mother He will protect me from any harm that is coming my way. Sai Maa jaise apne apni aanchal ki chhanv mein chupakar meri raksh kari vaise hi sabki Raksha karna Sai (Baba the way You protected me in Your motherly shade, similarly please protect all Sai). Om Sai Ram.

Baba’s Grace

My dog last Monday was a bit low and so casually called his vet. The vet said maybe he had caught the cold considering the weather. I asked him if I should bring him to the hospital to examine him once and check his fever. The vet said that it was up to me as the vet would be on a night duty the following day. So I took my pet to the hospital and on examining him it was found that there’s eczema and swelling on his scrotum due to which he was low. Vet gave him antibiotics for five days and said that it was important for the swelling to reduce. The first 3 days it was the same but on Thursday there was a slight improvement.

All this while I prayed to Baba to please help my dog as he was really uncomfortable. I would apply Udi on his forehead and put the same in his food. I checked about the pain and swelling on the internet too and that only brought negative thoughts in my mind. I was scared and wasn’t sleeping well at night and just praying to Baba that everything was at His feet then and to please bless my dog.

From Monday to Friday, I was in constant touch with the vet and sending him the pictures. So while talking to him on Friday evening he suggested that I should once show him to the surgeon at the hospital so that they could rule out everything and examine the scrotum well. No doubt I was scared. So the next day I took him to the surgeon who said that it was moderate eczema and it would take a month to heal, so nothing much to worry. I breathed a sigh of relief. Before leaving for the hospital I prayed and bowed down to Baba and asked for His protection and healing. Applied Udi on my forehead and while I was waiting at the hospital I read the Hanuman Chalisa too.

Sai Solves My Problem

This experience happened on the day of my daughter’s birthday. I have planned to make black forest cake for my daughter’s birthday. So the preparation started. For cake every ingredient was mixed. I kept the mixture inside the cooker and generally the cake bakes for 45 minutes. But what happened, when I opened the lid of the cooker, it was watery. I was totally devastated as it was my daughter’s birthday. Even in lock down we did not want to buy the cake from outside. Immediately I prayed to Sai that if it came out well, then I would post this incident. After that only I got an idea that I kept the cake for some more time (not my idea, Sai’s idea). After one and half hours, it was baked and it came as good as store bought cake. All credit goes to Sai only.

It may be a small thing, but at that time Sai’s help was huge (timely help). Love You Sai.

Sai one more thing, please make my Amma walk. She is bedridden. It hurts the whole family please Saipa. My elder daughter is in 12th standard, please make her study well. Thanks a lot without You, I am nothing Sai.

Baba’s Mercy

Few days back I had shared that I am having eye problems where I am seeing the floaters in air and if all turns out good I would post here. I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday for the retina check up and the doctor on their own rescheduled it to a Thursday and asked if I was Ok with it. At first I was not as it was a busy day for me but then I felt for some good reason only it must have got rescheduled on Baba’s day. So I agreed.

I had been praying to Baba that without surgery and with just vitamins the problem should get rectified and there should be nothing serious. I went and the doctor said the exact thing. He said thankfully there was no problem in the retina and hence not a worry. It would get corrected with vitamins and due to post delivery effect it was possible. I was very happy to know it as on google I had read it may lead to blindness also. But as prayed our merciful Baba heard my prayers. Thank You Baba once again. Posting here as promised.

I pray Baba that it gets healed soon. When it is completely healed again I will post here. Jai Sairam!
