Baba Saved Us From The Jaws Of Death

I’d like to thank your team for maintaining this site which increases our faith and devotion and helps us hold Baba’s feet firmly even in trying times. With Baba’s inspiration, I’d like to share with you an experience that once altered the course of my life. This is a story about my mother, who introduced me to Baba as a child. She has always been an ardent Sai devotee. I grew up in a small country in Africa and had been living there since age 3. When this incident occurred, I was 11 years old. On a cold Saturday morning in July 1997, my mother’s colleague came over to show her a gift that they were planning to give a retiring colleague. While looking at the gift, my mother accidentally dropped it and it broke. My mother felt terrible, as the party for the colleague was later that night, and she wanted to see if she could replace it. My mother and I drove to a nearby shop and she spoke to the shopkeeper to see if she could find a replacement. That took a while and the shopkeeper agreed to find a replacement by Monday. My mother agreed and we were about to go home. All our family’s cars have a small photo of Baba on the windshield, as my mother believed Baba would protect us on the road. And Baba has never failed to do that, as we were about to find out. Since it was around 1pm, I suggested that we go and pick up my dad, who was about to leave work. She agreed and we drove out of the shopping complex and onto the main road.

A little less than 2 minutes later, a large truck that had overtaken another car and couldn’t make it back into the opposite lane on time, slammed into our car head-on, hitting my mother’s side with more force. We were both knocked unconscious. About 10 minutes later, a large crowd had gathered around the car and people were desperately trying to get us both out of the wrecked vehicle. They had succeeded in getting me out, but my mother was stuck. Around this time, my father and his business partner were driving past the scene when they saw a huge crowd. They stopped and ran to see what was happening. They were utterly shocked to see my mother stuck inside a wrecked car and me laid on the gravel beside it. They and several others were able to force the door open and rescue my mother. They raced us to a nearby hospital. As the car drove there, I vaguely remember looking at my mother’s terrible injuries and thinking, “Will my mother survive?”. After basic triage on both of us (my injuries were minor), my mother was raced to a specialized hospital where she went through surgery and survived. Throughout her pain, trauma, operations and months of painful recovery, my mother never lost faith in her Baba. She held firmly to His lotus feet and derived her strength and recovery from his divine power. Within 6 months, my mother had recovered fully, with Baba’s infinite grace.


It has been 20 years since that cold Saturday morning and my mother is still alive, though she carries a lot of that pain even now. But had it not been for Baba’s divine intervention and grace, neither of us would have survived. My life would have been very different without my mother around and I would never have gotten to where I did in life. Thus I am ever grateful to my dearest Sai Baba for saving His devotees from the Jaws of Death. When in fear, I am always reminded of Baba’s words to Bapusaheb Booty, who was afraid for his life, “Well, you need not be afraid; Tell Him boldly, ‘Let us see how death kills’.” Om Sai Ram, Om Sai Ram, Om Sai Ram.

Baba’s Support

Anonymous Devotee from USA says: I am a Sai Baba devotee from 2014. I have experienced Baba’s presence in my life a lot of times. He forgives my mistakes and never lets me down. Thanks to Baba for giving me the thought to write my experience here. Om Sai Ram! I am a weak person both physically and mentally. Having so many health issues, my mind was stressful and would cry while praying Baba. I decided to do 9 Thursdays Vrat. At the same time i also tried to be in a particular diet to cure my health issue. Though i performed Vrat with my heartful faith, in some corner my mind was thinking the diet also is going to help. But this was not true. After completing the Vrat, i checked with the doctor, there was no improvement in my health condition. I was upset and thinking what mistake i had done during Vrat. I cried in front of Baba asking why my Vrat was not accepted by Him. Though i was little angry and upset for not getting response from Baba, i continued my usual prayers. I cannot live without talking to Him. I believe that the bad happens because of our past karma and good happens because of our prayers to Sai Baba. I cannot live without praying Baba. My days start with Om Sai.

Then I decided to give up my diet and purely surrendered to Baba. I prayed Him saying “Baba, i wholeheartedly surrender myself to Your lotus feet, it is You going to take care of everything. Please bless me to get my health better. Please give me hope that You are with me. I want to stand in front of You and pray You happily.” Yes. My dear Sai Baba blessed me and turned my health better. I got my Vrat prayer answered. Thank You so much Baba. You always love Your children. Only we are not understanding You sometimes due to our past karma. Please bless us with the patience. I got such experiences before also. Every time when I get serious health issue, Baba supports me to come out of the fear and get better. 3 years back, my first prayer to our Baba was answered and that is not a simple wish. My husband was sent to USA for a project assignment and he tried to bring us soon and applied for visa for us. But the visa was supposed to take 6 months at least. I prayed to Baba and Baba helped me and answered my prayer and we got visa in premium which is not usually done for employees without any emergency. I got stunned and I felt so much love with Baba. From then, I started seeking His help in all our problems. Visa problem got over and another problem was waiting to hit us. I had a knee crack while we were in a plan to travel abroad in next 2 months. The doctor said that there might be a ACL tear and I might need to undergo a surgery. We all were shocked and tearful. I prayed to Baba and surrendered myself to come out of this situation. MRI was taken and by Baba’s grace, there was no tear of acl, but only a small crack in patella for which I had to be in support with plaster bandage for 1.5 months. I could not walk without a walker support.

At the same time, visa interview also was arranged and I had to go to Chennai along with my 2 yrs old kid. I was left with no idea. I just decided to come out of my confusions and questions and prayed to Baba to take care of this situation. Somehow we slowly travelled to Chennai in a car. And I knew about the crowd and the waiting time in embassy. When we believe Baba and surrender our situation, He will make all arrangements for us. In embassy, I was taken in a wheel chair and it took just 10 minutes to finish my visa interview. I had no words enough to thank my Baba. Be with us and guide us all the time Baba, Bless each and every second of our life. I surrender myself and my family to Your lotus feet. It is You going to guide us and all the directions we take forward must be preceded by You dear Baba. Please remove bad thoughts from our heart. Let our heart be filled with pure love towards Baba and again this is possible only with Your blessings Sai. I love You Baba. Om Sai Ram!

How Baba Blessed Me With Colours

In my last post i shared how i got Neem leaf from security. Today i will share one more Miracle happened on the same day. That day morning (On Basant Panchami) we had nice Darshan of Baba and we came to Gurusthan. I had Dhuni set in my hand (Sambrani or Dhoop powder Navdanya coconut). I was just looking around for someone who will tell where to drop them exactly. In Dhuni opposite to Gurusthan or near Dhuni in Dwarkamai. Then i saw one middle age man in orange dress wearing headgear. I asked him by showing Dhuni set, he just asked me to come along with me by showing his hand and took me to Dhuni opposite to Gurusthan asked me to put in it, after my packet finished he gave his also and he made me drop three times. I felt so blessed while he was giving Sambrani power he was just moving his head like nothing will happen don’t worry and he gave some powder to 2 more ladies beside him. There were many people but he just gave only those two ladies.

After i finished dropping i went little back and was telling my family friend about this, then that person turned back to me and smiled and again moving head like nothing will happen. And those ladies to whom he gave were also saying, like Baba only he called us and gave Sambrani to drop in Dhuni. Even i too felt the same. That time i was so depressed because of some personnel problem. I felt like Baba came in his form and telling me not to worry. I had a desire to watch Palki possession in Shirdi. But i never been to Shirdi on Thursday. That day when we went was Basant Panchami. We didn’t know about it much as we don’t celebrate much. That day there was Palki possession and Holi celebrations too. We saw so many people playing Holi near Dwarkamai. I asked Baba if some colour fall on me then i understand that You are telling me, your life would be beautiful from now. I waited till evening 4 p.m. saw so many people with colours al lover their body but not even single drop fell on me. When i went to second time Darshan (when i got Neem leaf from security) when i touched Baba feet (that time they had kept glass as crowd was there, so we had to touch His feet with hands only) some colour came to my hand. I felt little happy as i was expecting more colours on me.

Then when we were sitting there in Gurusthan someone told us that now Palki possession will come here and he was clearing the way, after sometime time Palki came. It was so nice, people playing with colours and They were singing and dancing nicely. It was really an wonderful experience No one should miss it and one lady she threw colours on people standing there it also fell all over me I was very happy and blessed. From that time on my life is really colourful. I have been experiencing so many Baba miracles. Baba face came in my Aarti spoon five times in five different spoons. And so many places i saw Him, in my Chandan plate, on Dhuni in the temple where we regularly go and in my Dhoop stand etc. Now a days i am treating Him as my family member only i offer Him morning milk breakfast lunch snack and dinner. Night before sleeping i’ll keep some water and a fruit or biscuits beside Him. What i understood after seeing all these miracles in my life up to now is He just need love on Him. Neither Pooja nor money (Dakshina) just love faith and patience Love You so much Baba.

Baba Jaan And All Gods Helped Me

I request you to choose a photo of Bappa and Baba from me and upload on my experience. Pranam Baba Jaan. Dear devotees, this is my 5th post. On July 5th I had my first car accident. That week and that day I was already feeling that something bad was going to happen to me or someone close to me. It was 19:00 when someone knocked on my car in the back. I was shocked and unresponsive, for moments my eyes closed and I thought I had died. But I opened my eyes and saw that I was alive and that everything inside the car had fallen except Ganesh ji and Hanuman Bappa Murti and the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. They were all in the same place including me. God grabbed me so hard that my head did not even touch the steering wheel. The person who caused the accident soon came to me to see that I was well and assumed his guilt. The most unbelievable thing is that his car did not have a single visible damage while mine was totally destroyed by the rear. I did not cry at that moment but when I got home I felt an overwhelming desire to cry not only because of the accident but also because I felt that Ganesh Bappa saved me because one of His images, despite not falling, was turned away. It was as if he had been left with my back pain. This is the blessing of God.

After that I stayed a month without a car and it was very stressful because I needed my car to go to work and the entire insurance company process was not having good results. The insurance company said that the car was a total loss case and that they would not repair the same but rather pay only compensation. I like my car and did not want to lose it so with the help of my friends I found a good garage and they repaired my car. Thank You Baba and all the Gods, now my car is repaired. That day I told Baba that I will publish my experience when my car comes home. Thank You Baba Jaan. Now another chapter has started in my life and I really need Your help and answers Baba because I do not know what to do. A few months ago I saw a person who is even from my community. I’m your 29 year old girl who like any other girl has dreams of getting married and meeting the person of her dreams. When I saw this boy, I thought my dreams were becoming true because he was exactly what I dreamed for myself. I thought I would never find someone like him and after finding him I saw that miracles can happen and why not with me? but I was wrong. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi I discovered that we are from the same Gotra. I was shocked because I did not know that and I did not even know he and his family existed. All my dreams and hopes have broken. He lives in another country but the day after Bappa’s Visarjan day I got to know that he was here. He came from his country to mine. Now tell me Bappa and Baba. What should I do? I lost my peace and I think what hurting me the most is that when I finally thought that my life would settle, it seems that everything got worse. I was going to touch the happiness and fell down. Baba guide me please and bring back my peace. Forgive me if I am hurting You, my dear Baba and Bappa. Love You. Om Namah Shivay, Ganpati Bappa Morya. Miracles Of Shri Sai Baba

Anonymous Devotee from Canada says: I am a ardent devotee of Sai Baba since childhood. Whatever happened in my life is just because of Sai Baba. I really want to thank you Hetal ji and your whole team, you all are doing great work.

First Miracle, While doing masters (2011-2013) i was giving competitive exams but every time i unsuccessful. Even after completing masters I was giving exams but no result, i used to get angry on Sai Baba and used to ask Sai Baba why are You doing this to me?. In 2015, i thought i should apply for higher studies in Canada and i gave IELTS exam but i got less marks, i cried a lot and was so upset. Next day my sister called admission department at the college and told them about my score and you know what happened they gave me admission in their college, i was not believing at all, but Sai Baba did miracle. He helped me in every stage of student visa process and without any difficulty i landed Canada in September 2015.

Second Miracle, After completing my first course in Canada, i thought to take another course but in different college and i was worried because of my IELTS scores but with the help of Sai Baba i got the offer letter. After two years of studies i applied for work permit, Because of Sai Baba i got it for 3 years without any hurdle.

Third Miracle- After completing studies i was applying for full time job, but there was no response from any recruiters. During that period i was so stress, i used to check answers of Sai Baba on Saibabaanswers.com. and the answer- your work will be done after Amavasya and offer sugar to Sai Baba for 21 days and donate after and the other answer- You asked for 100 but you will get 101, thing will happen all of sudden. One day, i got a call and i missed it, i didn’t even call back. But later on the checked on true caller it was xyz company name and thought ok. After that day i came to know that one of my friend got hire by that company, i was feeling so sad and blaming myself. One day i got a call from an employer and they interviewed me on Skype and after that called me for personnel interview and it was good but i was nervous and they told me they will let me know till afternoon, i went home and checked my email where i saw my job offer letter. Yes again miracle happened, all word of Sai Baba came true, within 3 days i got job and that too all of sudden. I asked for less, but Baba gave me more. I joined the job by grace of my Sai Baba, my parents and my sister. Thank You so such Sai Baba.

Lessons Taught By Sai Baba

Anonymous Devotee from India says: Let me begin by saying hi to every Sai devotee who’s reading this and admin of this blog and all others who are managing this blog and thank you so much for this blog. So coming to my experience, my mother is a Sai devotee and because of her my father too became a Sai devotee. Mom always used to ask me to pray to Baba and I used be like “mom Baba asks for faith and patience and I do not have patience” When we were going through problems, mom used to say “Sai Baba will take us out of these problems” And I used be like “Is He that powerful?” And as days passed I realised He is the only saviour and I do not have any other choice then being patient and He also made me realize how powerful He is ! Pain which Baba Himself gives us is because of our karma which we all know but it is also to get rid of anger, jealousy, lust, ego, attachments, greed. Baba says everything happens because of His wish and its true My family members back stabbed us but we have forgiven them and helped them when needed us, later when we needed them they helped us back. This shows that everything that happened was Baba’s wish. This also taught me that nothing belongs to us, not even our closest family members and friends except God. Also Baba says help those who come to you and if you can’t then refuse politely. I’m in my early 20s and I’m still learning the true meaning of life taught by Baba in Sai Satcharitra.
