Sai Baba Guides To Be A Publisher

It would be hard for people to believe that I got a message from Baba in 2002 to be a publisher. But I was too caught up with a stressful career. In fact, I had seven court cases related to my newspaper pitted against me, and life looked like an endless pit. I would consistently ask Baba to give me money, if He wanted me to be a publisher. Well, that was then, now I think, if Baba wants something done, we simply have to surrender, and He will get it done.

My early memory of Shri Sai Baba is of 1994, when I was working with a publishing house in Mumbai. Next to the office there was a big photo of Baba. And every time I passed the photo, I would think, ‘Should I ask Baba to help me resolve one issue I was dealing with?’ But my family believed in Maqdoom Shah Baba of Mahim (Mumbai) and they had often told me, ‘Always go to one Spiritual Master’. So without speaking out my heart to Baba I would pass the picture every day. Years rolled by and with His Grace I was pulled in Sai Baba’s embrace. So inspite of my earlier reservations, Baba’s next call came in 1997, when a friend of mine, Shri Vishwarath Nayar took me to Shri Bhagwati Sai Sansthan, Panvel. This was the first time I was going to a temple. The moment I stepped in the temple, I felt very calm and peaceful. After sometime the Madhyan Arati (noon Arati) began. I did not understand what they were singing in unison, only that I was relishing this supreme calm. I did not realize at that time, that this was the beginning of a new way of living being paved for me. After this, whenever I was troubled, I would go to the temple to seek solace in His divine presence. Thus, I got addicted to the spiritual high.

After a year, I had the opportunity to go to Shirdi. I still remember vividly, the moment my bus reached Nasik, I felt bliss descending over me. The first time I touched the stone on which Baba sat, which is now reverentially kept in Dwarkamai, an energy passed through me (was it Shaktipath? In this a Guru transfers energy to a disciple). I cherished the experience; but after that, the experience never repeated itself. May be, on my first visit, He wanted me to know that we have a connection. Soon, there was a surge of Sai energy in my life. After closing my office, every evening I went to the Shri Bhagwati Sai Sansthan, Panvel and attended the Shej Arati (the last Arati of the day, where Baba is ceremoniously requested to rest). I started reading regularly, the English translation of Shri Sai Satcharita originally written in Marathi by Govind (Annasaheb) Raghunath Dabholkar alias Hemadpant regularly. Whenever I was faced with problems, I would open Shri Sai Satcharita randomly and then, I would see that there was a message for me there.

In 2002, unbidden, a thought came to me to write a book on Shri Sai Baba. I was caught up with the self-defeating thought, ‘I am not a good writer, nor am I a great devotee of Baba, how can I write a book on Him?’ So I decided to seek His guidance. As usual I sought His guidance and opened Shri Sai Satcharitra with faith; the book opened on chapter 3, where Baba tells Annasaheb Dabholkar, “You have my full consent to write my life.” I immediately saw this is an indication to me to start penning the book. In November 2002, I started writing. After a few days I discontinued writing, as more important survival issues became priority. Again in the beginning of 2003, I decided to write Baba’s book. But, again wanted to know if I should pen His book? So, once again, I randomly opened Shri Sai Satcharita and lo! It opened on chapter 6, and my eyes fell on “When I myself start to write anything, I cannot compose a few words or sentences; but when He of His own accord makes me write, I go on writing and there is no end to it.” So, this was the second indication from Baba for me to write. Still after a few days, this too turned out to be an abortive attempt as I couldn’t continue writing.

In 2002 the newspaper I had started, came down like a house of cards. Things were simply going from bad to worse, and it looked like a bottomless pit. I had court cases filed against me, as I was the owner-editor-publisher of the newspaper. The nightmare kept on lengthening. By mid-2003 inspite of the hardship on my professional front, my connection with Baba kept on strengthening. In the meanwhile, I wrote and re-wrote the book several times. In early 2006, when I discussed about the book with graphic designer, Jehangir Jamadar, the project started moving towards the production stage. Under Baba’s loving guidance Jehangir gave the layout and designs for the book, which is titled ‘Sai Katha Sagar’. This was appreciated by many. There was a huge demand for the book due to its simplicity and the book was released in 2014 as “Miracle called Shirdi Sai.” This book is available on Amazon.in Shamshaad believes that Baba helps us with our material and spiritual progress. As years rolled by I brought out at intervals books that were modestly successful. My first book Stree Shakti 1 was released in 2005, Sai Katha Sagar 2006, Stree Shakti 2 in 2008, Media Management Made Easy in 2011, but it was only with Shri Sai Baba Blessing Cards 2012 that my company Prasaar Communication started tasting success in publishing.

In 2010 He asked me to come out with Blessing Cards (like Tarot Cards) on Sai Baba. When the guidance came I negated it, thinking it is such an odd idea, how I can do it, where is the money for printing, any way who will buy such cards, etc. But the idea would keep re-surfacing at regular intervals. Finally in May 2012, when I was participating in Divine Healing Hands Soul Healer Programme by Master Zhi Gang Sha, I saw Sai Baba standing on the stage and urging me to bring out the Deck. Again I asked Baba where is the money for the project? He said, ‘Why do you worry about the finance? Everything will be taken care of. Don’t worry, you just start, I am there to support you.’ Hearing this assurance I dropped all my worries and started working. My job was to keep on becoming empty so that I could connect with Baba and do His bidding. I was guided by Baba to select 60 messages, Suresh Das, a visualizer started working out the designs. There are innumerable Leelas of Baba guiding me throughout this project. The major one was the printer, who took up the work with an advance of just Rs.10,000 and some post-dated cheques. The second, I remember very vividly- when the first rush of prints came from the printing press, everything was fine – except for one picture which was technically not matching the original colour tone. I knew that such a minor error, nobody would really notice, as they had not seen the original image and its colour tone. But I was beset with feelings of guilt and sought Sai Baba’s guidance I brought the issue up with the printer’s staff; he shrugged and said that nothing could be done about that particular card. Just then, the press production supervisor, Darshan arrived and I informed him. He said, “We can better this quality.” He went and fixed a few knobs and soon reams of fabulously printed sheets started coming out! I was only going to give two pamphlets on how to use the deck, but Baba inspired me to pen a guidebook, while the printing was on. And while I was writing the guidebook, another of my niggling worry was resolved by Baba. I would often think, how can Baba’s philosophical utterances ever resolve the devotees’ questions regarding finance, career, marriage, etc.? Baba in His infinite wisdom guided me that, when the question is posed to Him, He will guide the seeker through the image or message on the card or through a thought, image, sound, feeling, etc. that will arise in that moment of ‘Communion’. These are not prediction or astrology-based cards. These are guidance cards. For e.g. it is mentioned in the step by step guide book, how to still one’s mind, how to shuffle the cards, how to connect with the Divine, etc. Even the technique of asking questions is given- You can ask ‘What is it that I need to know the most now?’ Or formulate a question, that results in ‘yes’ / ‘no’ or asking a question that could be requesting for further guidance. For e.g. Baba should I apply for xyz job? Or Baba I want to apply for xyz job, what it is that I should know now? As I went ahead with the project more clarity came to me, my question about why these Blessing Cards was further clarified to me- today we are going through turbulent times and Baba wants us to remember His teachings of ‘Shraddha and Saburi’ (Faith and Patience). Inspite of all the miracles all the way, I was still doubting Baba’s Leela called- Shri Sai Baba Blessing Cards, and again Baba came and boosted my confidence with a few more leelas.

On August 12, 2012, I was participating in a spiritual retreat and two young women– Renu Chawla and Geeta Bodwani, whom I did not know then, came to her. Geeta had seen the cards in a friend’s hand and was curious to know about them. They wanted to pull a Card and see if they got a message from Sai Nath, and when they did pull a Card, the message they received was totally relevant to them; these made them feel deeply connected to the Blessing Cards. That is how Geeta and Renu placed an order for Blessing Cards. Even after this event, I found it incredible to believe that the Decks were being sold. I have gone through so much failure in life that I was still sceptical of the success of these Decks being sold out. I thought Baba is showing me a carrot by sending these two women, and my doubtful mind said ‘let me see if these cards really sell.’ As days rolled by, Sai Nath ensured the Cards sold out with ease. Complete strangers wrote to me to say how Baba is guiding them with the help of these Blessing Cards. Some write to me and say how Baba came ceremoniously to them, after they had concluded the Arati at their home, and the courier person just appeared to hand over their parcel. Some stay at far off destinations and they have been eagerly waiting for days, and when they get the parcel it is on a Thursday, which many consider as Baba’s day, they are super delighted.

Parvez J Daruwala is a beautiful soul and a friend. One day I felt like gifting him a box. So I sent him the box without informing him, and he was simply amazed, because his friends were planning to go to Shirdi and he could not go because of some work. But when the unexpected box of cards reached him, he felt Baba has Himself come to him. He now carries the pack wherever he goes on tour out of Mumbai. Some weeks later, he happened to speak with the friend, who was to organize the trip, and was amazed to learn that they did not go to Shirdi. So they could re-plan a trip together. Another of Baba’s Leela. Sai Baba Blessing Cards sold out in 2015. Slowly and steadily people were coming to know about them and the pressure to bring out the second edition was building up. So in July 2016 with Sai Grace the second edition was launched. As we went on this divine journey of presenting Sai Baba’s messages in attractive Card format, we realized that Shri Sai Baba Blessing Cards are – Help Sai devotees’ to seek Baba’s guidance in their day-to-day issue * They can use it to receive a Daily Message from Baba * They can use it to find clarity in issues that are bothering them And while they are using these Cards, it is helping them meditate on His words, fathom deeper significance to Baba’s words and thus the bonding between Baba and Bhakta becomes stronger. She states, “Salokyam (perception of the Divine) is the first step, Sameepyam (proximity to the Divine) is the second, Sarupyam (identity with the Divine) is the third and Sayujyam (merger with the Divine) is the fourth. Only then can you attain Sayujyam (liberation).

Sai Baba Darshan

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a devotee of Sai Baba from India from past 8 years. There have been many miracles of Shree Sai Baba in my life. But I want to share this miracle. I had problems with my in-laws since first year of my marriage. Its been six years to my marriage. In the starting for quite few months I was very happy. But lately the problems increased. But still the problem continues. I have a son. I know my husband loves me a lot but he never supports me. Around 4 months back my parents took me back to their home with my son. My husband is totally against me now. One day I took my son to his school as it was very far off from my parent’s home. There is Sai Baba mandir near his school. I was reading Sai Satcharitra and there were tears in my eyes. I told Baba I am Your daughter, when will you solve my problems. I want to see You, talk to You Baba. Please give me Your live darshan.

I purchased biscuits as prasad from the nearby shop and started distributing to poors. Some packets were left with me. While going back in a car on a red light, suddenly a saint wearing same clothes as Baba and having tears in His eyes knocked the window of my car. I was shocked to see, I gave the packet of the biscuits to him and I was confused was He really Baba? I was mad to not recognize Him. Then all of a sudden He disappeared. And for a week I went through the same route just to see Him again. But all in vain. It was Baba Who through His presence, indicated me that He is with me. And He will always be with me.

There have been many miracles in my life. I got my first job because of Baba as I was reading Sai Satcharitra at my in-laws place and crying alone when I got my first interview letter. And I got the job which I did not even think of. My father was in some problem. It got solved because of Sai Baba. And through this case only I started believing in Him more and more. I got admission into research after I visited Shirdi. I had a severe issue with my pregnancy and was on bed rest. It was Baba Who saved my child and me. Before having this pregnancy issue I had visited Sai Baba mandir there a devotee of Sai Baba, he told me that I will have issues later on during my pregnancy but by Baba’s grace everything will be ok. And after few days doctor told me complete bed rest. And later on I was gifted with a baby boy who was healthy. Another miracle happened when I was telling Baba that I have been trying to visit Shirdi from past few months but due to some work I was not able to go there. I was telling Baba that You don’t want me to visit You. When will You call me. And all of a sudden I got a call from my aunt that next month there are four continuous holidays and we are planning to visit Nanded Sahib and Shirdi. Will you accompany us? And I said yes. And we all be visiting Shirdi next month by Baba’s grace.

There have been numerous miracles in my life. I do Baba’s vrat regularly as He solves my problem every-time. Baba please solve my problem this time also as I am not able to keep patience now. I know You are with me. But this is really tough time for me and my son who is just four and he misses his father a lot. Baba I cry in front of You when I am alone so that my parents don’t see me as they will get tensed. I pray every night before sleeping that when will my husband and I be together. You know everything. I even sometimes fight with You that how can You see me like that? Why don’t You do anything, then all of a sudden my inner voice tells me to be patient and have full faith in You that everything will be fine at the end of the day. Baba I love You and please, please make my faith stronger in You as each day passes.

Sai Baba Accepted My Prayer And Shawl

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: Sai Ram to all Sai devotees. My experience is as follows, I was doing 9 Guruwar Sai vrat to get job in IT Mnc. I had given interviews in some companies too and was just waiting for final offer letter and joining letter. After completing 8 vrats, I decided that I will do 9th vrat and Udyapan after getting final offer and joining letter. So meanwhile, every Thursday I didn’t keep fast but continued performing Sai puja.

One such Thursday, I was chanting Sai Baba’s 108 names and offering flower petals with each name, a thought arose in my mind that I should also offer one small shawl to Sai Baba idol. Here I would like to mention, I have one feet Sai Baba’s idol, so a small shawl will do. So I decided to make one shawl. I took one new piece of shining orange color cloth and started decorating it with nice silver lace and decorative golden colour stars. While making I was very happy thinking Sai Baba was guiding me to make that shawl and thought will offer that shawl to Sai, the next Thursday. Then I looked at my temple, in which I was having all Hindu God’s portraits and small bronze idols of all God’s like Ganesha, Rama Sita, Shiva paravati. So again I thought, I should make small shawls for these idols too. So I made small-small shawls for all three idols similar to the shawl of Sai Baba.

Then on next Thursday I did Sai puja and offered shawls to all idols including Sai Baba. All idols were looking very pretty with my shawl. I was very happy and satisfied. Then I went back to my routine work. In afternoon I was making chapatis for my family. Now here Sai Baba performed His Leela, one old man wearing light orange colour cloth on head just like Sai Baba wears, came in front of my house door. My mom saw him, thinking he must be asking for some money, she went outside to give him some money. He said I don’t want money, I am hungry, give me some food. My mom came quickly inside, took some sabji and two chapatis which I was making and gave it to him. Then he said I want some water also, so mom gave him some water also in one plastic bottle. He thanked and went to a park just opposite to my house, sat there and ate sabji chapati. I also came out and saw him eating food in Park. One thing I would mention here, this beggar came for first time to my house. Haven’t seen him before. I thought it must be Sai Baba Who came to my house and accepted my shawl. Thanks Sai Baba for accepting my prayer. Always bless me and my family like this only. With Sai’s blessing I will get joining letter soon. Thanks Sai Baba. Baba’s Protection

I have started Nav Guruvar vrat for my job and Baba has fulfilled my wish by giving job in international company. That too in the company which I used to dream to get placed in. I am so thankful to You Baba. Not only giving job but Baba called me to Shirdi and gave beautiful darshan to me. After returning to home, I saw my father sick. On that day only suddenly my father fell down and became like paralysis patient, rolled His hands and mouth towards one side. Water came out of His mouth. He was crying. I got so scared that he would die. I immediately took Shirdi Udi packet and applied on His forehead. I got goosebumps and I felt unconscious. My dad became alright. I fell sick. I prayed Sai Baba please cure me and help me. Suddenly I became so weak that I could not walk to bathroom even. I prayed Sai to make me healthy and give strength then I will post my experience in the website. Later in few minutes my mother took handful of salt and removed “dhisti” for me. Immediately I got relieved from severe headache, body pain and weakness. I felt good. By evening I became alright. Thank You so much Baba for making my mother to remove shisti and protecting me. Thank You so much Baba for giving another life to my father by giving Your valuable Udi to me in time. I feel like it was all Your plan to call me to Shirdi and give Udi(which You gave on my 4th visit to Shirdi so that my father can came out of the calamity) Thank You so much Baba for protecting me and my father. Who never believes in You and treat You as a human and not God. I am very grateful to You my lord. Please be with me and my family. Protect us all the time. I don’t have anyone except You Baba. You are only my mother, father, sister, brother and best friend. You are my all time Saviour. Thank You so much for each and every day given to me to live. Baba’s Blessing

Anonymous Sai Devotee from USA says: I work as an IT Consultant. First of all I would like to thanks Hetalji for doing such a wonderful job. By Babaji`s grace I have experienced and still experiencing many small and big miracles in day to day life. The one I am about to describe is one among those experiences. The miracle which I had encountered by Babaji`s grace was for getting US F1 visa back in 2001. It was at that time people have to stand in long queue`s at the embassy and had to go through a long and tedious process of interview.

So by Babaji`s grace I was told by my Guruji to do one week parayan. So I started parayan with complete dedication and when I was just about to complete the week parayan, I asked my Guruji to either continue for one more week or complete the parayan. And he instructed me to do the parayan for one more week. Till that time I had completed all my submission of forms and transcripts and if I do remember properly I have received my I-20 also. Biggest challenge was to get visa. I had visited the embassy once with one of my friends and saw people lined up. It was really scary for me. In between my Parayan only, I got a chance to experience Babaji’s miracle. One of my very old school mate`s sister met me at a bus stand, out of no where and she only recognized me. But I was still worried about the interview process for Visa and all. And as the days for applying visa was getting near day by day I was getting really nervous. But only Babaji knows that I had and have surrendered myself completely to Him only. And that is how He took care of my worries. For getting Student visa , at that time only USEFI (United States Education Foundation of India) made a pact with US Embassy that for students those who are registered with them for close to one year, would not need to submit their documents and go for interview at US embassy. Instead of that they would need to just submit their document at USEFI, I just did that while chanting Babaji`s name and trust me I got my first visa without any hassles and any interview while sitting at my home in mail, stamped on my passport. Experience With Udi

My eye started to twitch in Feb 2017 putting me under tremendous mental stress. As I started to think that there was a serious neuro problem and I would die soon. I put Udi on my eyes and brows but it didn’t work. After a few weeks it went away on its own. Still I see Baba in this entire episode. Faith shakes but somehow we need to trust and remember Sai.
