Sai Showers His Blessings

Sai Devotee Sravani From India Says: Hi Hetalji! Thank you for the blog which keeps us in faith. I am Sravani, Sai devotee from India. Please share my name only and not email. I would like to share a couple of my recent experiences with Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and the way He showers His blessings on His devotees.

I was staying at my friend’s place last night and we were supposed to go to a trek the next day into a forest. I went to sleep early but around 11.45 in the night, suddenly I woke up and realized that I was getting a call from my mother. I picked up the call with worry as it was late night and if my Mom was calling at that hour, thought there might be something about my grandmother’s health. As soon as I picked up the call, my mom asked me to come home early morning or if possible in the night itself, since my grandmother was not feeling well. I was very tensed. I pray to Baba everyday and chant ‘Om Sai Sri Sai Jai Jai Sai’ 108 times and I repeat it 11 times. I started praying Baba, chanting His name and asked Him to save my grandmother. I requested Him to come in the Mrithyinjaya roopa and save her. A day before itself I got Baba’s Vibuthi from a friend who went to Shirdi. I told Baba, Sai please save her. I am sure that You would help me. She should be cured, and I should offer her Vibuthi in water after my trek in the evening, once I reach home. After the prayer, I again called my mom. Surprisingly she said that my grandmother was feeling OK now and said she would call me tomorrow. I assured my mom that everything would be fine with Baba’s blessings and He was indicating that He was already there with us to take care by sending us the Vibuthi a day before. In the morning, I started for the trek and around 6.52 in the morning I got a call from my sister saying that my grandmother was fine now and I need not worry. After reaching home, I gave Vibuthi and water to my grandmother. She said she would drink Baba’s Vibuthi mixed in water everyday for her health. It is true. The moment you seek His help, our beloved Baba is always there to answer our call. In fact I feel even before an issue arises, He has already thought of a solution to help us.

Another experience which I would like to share is this. In Baba’s prashnavali I was asked to offer tobacco and oil for three Thursdays. I googled a lot to see if they accepted tobacco at the temple as gift and I was worried how to offer tobacco. On the first Thursday, I went to a temple which I had noticed only a few days back on my way to work. (Though I had travelled in that route many times, I noticed it very recently). In the morning, I went to the temple, prayed to Baba and asked the temple manager if I could offer tobacco and oil there. He said he is OK with the oil but they don’t have a smoking pipe there or use tobacco. He suggested that I may put the Beedi (tobacco) in the Dhuni. I went to work and decided that I would take tobacco and oil to the temple in the evening. I even don’t know that place properly or where I would get Beedi. I prayed to Baba, asked Him to guide me and help me for only He could help us in our endeavours. In the evening, I got down at the place and bought oil from a kirana (grocery) store and asked the owner where I could get Beedi. He showed a pan shop and there was no one there at that point of time. I felt relieved as I am a girl and buying Beedi in front of a crowd may not be very comfortable. I took the Beedi and went to the temple. I checked with a lady if there was anyone there who uses Beedi. She said No. I wanted to give it to a person and asked Baba to come in the form of a person and bless me by taking the Beedi that I was offering. After breaking the coconut, I looked around the temple and there was no one. Then I saw a man walking towards the temple. I asked him if he smoked Beedi. He said No. Then I told him that I have to give Beedi to a person as per Baba’s wish. He said I will take it. My father smokes Beedi. I gave it to him very happily and had a great Darshan. I experienced many more miracles on that day which I would like to share later. And the best part is, on the day before the third Thursday, I saw a picture of Baba smoking Beedi when I closed my eyes. I felt very happy and viewed it as an indication that Baba accepted my prayers. The reason to share this experience is “Dear Devotees, whenever Baba asks you to do something, there is no need to worry about how that would happen. He is already there in the future and if we place our trust in Him, He would be there with us and help us. It is all about Trust and Patience….Shradha And Saburi”. Expect The Unexpected With Sai Baba

Sai Devotee Barathwaj from India says: Hi, my name is Bharathwaj and I am from Chennai. I’m living in Chennai and I am studying in 12th std. This is my first experience with Shirdi Sai Baba.

I have been through a lot of unsavoury experiences for the past few months. I’m also a spiritual kind of boy. I once used to go to temple everyday and thank God for giving me what I have today. If I have any problems I tell Him and ask Him for help. Recently my father had a rough time running his business. He was framed and was sentenced too. Since when he was bailed he stayed with us. He is an alcohol addict. He often used to start fight with my mom and myself and sometimes tend to be over-loving. Soon things started to become complicated. Twice this month I and my mother were sent out of our home. Despite my mother trying her best to live upto his expectations, she was always abused by my father. Due to some problems I am unable to go to school now. At this point I literally started developing hatred towards Gods and spiritualism. I stopped going to temples and for the sake of my mother I stand in front of the pooja room, close my eyes and pray “may all the miseries come to an end soon” but this time, with no faith and love for Him. Just empty minded.

Things were getting worse. But I never gave up. I studied my lessons regularly even though I was not sure if I would write the exams. My tuition teacher came to know about my problems and enquired me about it. I explained everything to her. She gave me some valuable advice and gave me Sai Baba book which contains stories and experiences of the devotees of Baba. I was negligent at first. But soon then I started worshipping Him. Brought Him home. Yesterday was the day I really started worshipping Him from the bottom of my heart. My father wanted my mother to leave the house again. I started praying Baba. Went to His temple and worshipped Him for the first time in years. But this time, from the bottom of my heart. When I stood in front of Him and closed my eyes, I observed peace. I explained Him my problems and asked Him for love and protection. When I opened my eyes and saw His compassionate face I felt electricity inside me which I hadn’t experienced over a long time. I then returned home. I had a feeling that things were going to change.

Today, I woke up and lit the lamp, worshiped Baba and sat to eat. I have a habit of watching movies while I eat. So sat in front of my PC and was watching the movie Maya(1999)which is a Sai Baba movie that tells how He protects His devotees from evil forces. At the middle of the movie my mother got a call from a director. I was eating and watching the movie inside. My mother exclaimed in happiness and informed me that the time I started Sai Baba vrat she got a part in TV, playing the role of a Sai Baba devotee. Coincidence?? No!! It’s a Sai-incidence. A miracle He made it happen. Yesterday I was expecting things would get better. But I never expected that I would see His miracles so soon. After hearing that, I came into my room and broke down to tears and thanked Baba. Later that day my mother also got a part in two movies and the most important of all, my father did not yell at my mother or asked her to leave. Instead he ate while my mother gave him and went to sleep without creating any trouble. This being my first experience I have a lot questions about Baba for which I would get my answers sooner. But I know one thing for sure. That He shall be Your guardian angel if You have complete faith in Him and surrender to Him completely.

Miracle With Job

Anonymous devotee from India says: I am a Sai devotee from last 3 years and from Odisha. Currently I am working in a software firm which is a purely blessing of Sai. This is the first time I am sharing my experience on this forum. Previously I was working in a well known software company. After working 8 months, I lost my job because of lack of project and became jobless. I attended many interviews and cleared most of the rounds. But nothing got finalised. I was so much frustrated that I wanted go back to my hometown and start something else. Before final interview, I decided to go back to hometown if this time it didn’t click. I was told by friend and relatives if nothing was working have a strong belief on Sai and if I would get job I should visit Shirdi Sai temple and take blessings. Believe me the last interview went so smooth and so good, panel was so impressed with me and I was offered the job within 10 days. It all happened because of Sai’s blessings and it was the best offer amongst all, where salary negotiation had taken place but was not offered the position in other companies. I got the best because of Sai’s blessings and I visited the Shirdi Sai temple and my faith towards Baba got doubled.

Then 2nd time after few years I had some problems in the workplace and lost job again. This time I was so disheartened and it was all painful because my marriage was on the card. I left everything on Baba and started to focus on the interview preparation where I had to give more than 100 percent. Things did not work out in few companies. But I prayed to Sai for best and kept doing my work. Every month I had to provide my family almost 90 percent of salary as they were dependent on me. I didn’t inform my family because they would be in lots of stress and pressure. I kept sending the money from my saving without complaining about anything. It was getting increasingly difficult because of my technology was not in great demand. Suddenly I got a call on Thursday from a very good company and interview got finalised next day. I cleared 1st round due to Sai’s blessings. Again there was big 2nd round that happened again on Thursday and got through after grilling interview of 1 hour and 30 minutes. This all happened because of Sai’s pure blessings. Now I got the best job with utmost great packages. Now I am very happy and everything is settled. So I would repeat one Sai saying “why fear when I am here”. Finally have faith on Sai without putting any conditions and one would feel the eternal blessings of Sai. My Baba Is With Me All The Time

Sai devotee Anita Arumugam from India says: I am Anita from Chennai and I will be posting my experiences here on this blog. I still consider it a wonder that I became a devotee of our beloved Baba. Okay so here it goes.

I knew about Baba during my school days itself but I had never really prayed or concentrated on Him. Somehow from 4-Apr-2016 I started chanting His name and wrote Om Sai Ram. This just came out of no where and till today I don’t know how I actually did that. During the second week of June I had a vision of Baba in my sleep and it was so realistic that I literally had goose bumps and till today I cannot forget it. I guess am really lucky as I had His vision more than thrice and He even appeared in my dream and I felt very blessed. Now coming to my first experience. My father as such isn’t much into prayers and one fine day he told me that he wants to go to Shirdi with all of us and it was completely strange for us and I was in a literal shock as he is not that kind of person who spends a lot and especially does not go out of town as he falls sick often. I think it was Baba Himself Who called me to Shirdi through the vision which I understood much later.

My second experience. My husband got a promotion last year November and he travelled to Hyderabad and my daughter and I stayed back in Chennai and we kept meeting each other often. However, we both were going through very rough times and our relationship was falling apart. Though ours was a love marriage, after the marriage things weren’t really great with us. Also, my husband was facing lot of issues in Hyderabad and in September he faced a big issue and was about to be terminated. I felt really bad as he was really clean and good at work. It was frightening because if it was a termination, they wouldn’t give the relieving letter and his whole future would be tough. I sincerely prayed Baba that even if he was terminated, I didn’t want him to face any issues with the relieving. The same happened and the HR accepted his formal resignation and they informed that the relieving letter would be sent in 45 days via courier. It was such a breather and I felt happy and I told Baba that if that happened I would distribute sweets in His temple on Thursday. As promised, I bought sweets and went to the temple. The Swamiji took the sweet box and in fact he kept it under Baba’s feet until I left the temple and I really felt good about that. Things aren’t still good between us however I believe that with Baba’s grace all would be sorted out. I sincerely pray that he gets another job soon so that we move on in life. I really have the faith that he will show us the right path. Om Sai Ram.

My Birthday Day Gift Given By Sai Baba

Sai Devotee Ayushi from India says: I am from India and lives in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. Thank you Hetalji as you are doing a wonderful job by maintaining this blog and boosting devotees’ faith. Sai Baba is my family for me, my Guru, my best friend, my best God and my best brother. I will say if I am alive today this is also because of my Sai Baba. Thank You Babaji for making me Your devotee.

Coming to my experience, I would say if Baba desires then everything happens. I was eagerly waiting for my marriage to take place from one last year but due to one or some other reason my marriage kept postponing. But this time the day before my birthday I prayed my Sai Baba to send my in- laws to fix my marriage date and I also asked that if possible make them come on my birthday or either at least I should get call from in- laws when would they come on Tuesday, my birthday. And here goes the miracle of my Baba i.e. on the day of my birthday I got the call from in- laws, they wished me and informed that since uncle in my in- laws has not got his train ticket booked they can’t come on the day informed and will come late. Hearing this I was sad, but again I must say this was my Baba’s miracle. Within 1:30 hour we got again a call from my in- laws informing that they were coming after 2 days. I was so happy listening this. And this call was only possible because of Baba, as Sai Baba can never see His devotees sad. We must have strong faith and patience as Sai Baba always comes for His devotees’ help.

And here is one more leela of my Sai Baba. I also got one dream in which I saw Sai Baba vrat Katha book. In the morning I thought if this book came into my dream I must do this vrat. But since my in- laws and my family was wishing to fix date in Nov, I was concerned how would I complete my vrat at one place all 9 Thursdays. So with God’s grace, my marriage date was fixed as 20 Jan 2017 and I got enough time for completing my 9 Thursdays’ vrat. Thanks to Sai Baba. I request You Sai Baba to please be with me always and get my marriage done properly on 20th January 2017 without any problems. Love You Sai Baba. And I also request Sai Baba to come in my marriage and give His blessings to us.

Sai Baba Our Saviour

I got introduced to Sai Baba through a friend of mine when I was in the 5th std, way back in 1980’s. She was wearing a finger ring with Baba’s picture on it and that was the first time I saw Him. I used to pray to my Sai only when I was in need of some help when I was in college. I got close to Him only in January 2014 when my family was facing lots of problems. He made us go through all our troubles with faith in Him and at the same time He taught us the lessons which we were supposed to learn. Baba got us out of troubles miraculously when we were least expecting it, thank You Sai Baba. I would like to thank Hetalji and her team for maintaining this site which gives so much peace to people like me. Thank you.

Coming to my experiences, I have couple of them which I would like to share though I have experienced thousands of them, but these two are the most recent ones. My elder son is quite weak in the subject mathematics. He has not been able to perform well in it for last three years. This year he failed in his term 1 exam in maths and was asked to take a retest. I was told that if he was not able to clear it then he would have to repeat the year. This was a big setback for him in terms of confidence. I too was very worried for him and prayed to my Baba wholeheartedly. My son worked harder and my husband and I too helped him a lot in understanding concepts well. By Sai Baba’s grace I got his result yesterday and my son has cleared the exam with a good margin. Thank You my dear Sai, koti koti pranam.

My second experience is also of yesterday which was a Thursday. My husband was travelling for work in a hilly area. His bus met with a bad accident but he came out of the bus safe and sound with no injury. The kind of mishap that it was, but the passengers have not been hurt that badly. My Sai Baba was there to protect all His children. Thank You my dear, dear Sai for everything. Please keep all of us wrapped in Your loving arms forever.
