Baba Brings Belief In Me

Anonymous Devotee from India says: I am a believer of Baba from 2013 but not an ardent follower but this year I felt His presence in my life that made me write this.

A month back I suddenly fell sick. I had a terrible pain in my left abdomen and lower back for more than a month. I was afraid to even visit the doctor because i thought it might be something deadly. It was a Thursday, I thought of Baba and was reading an article on Baba published in a magazine. A relative came on a casual visit and as we were speaking she said that she had come straight from Baba’s Temple and gave me flowers and Prasad. I felt His Blessing. That night I thought why I had forgotten the Udi, tomorrow morning I will have Udi with water.

The next day I thought that I would have Udi after my prayers, and was browsing through Facebook, when I saw a post from Sai Baba miracles page, by my friend. I read some three to five posts and in the next post one devotee had written how she too suffered from the same type of pain that I had and how after having Udi with water she was relived from her pain. I was so much taken back, how can one have the same type of pain as mine and have had the same cure that I thought of. I went and took the Sai Satcharitra and prayed to Baba, asking Him to guide and opened a page, and it was the first page of the chapter on Udi’s powers. Tears rolled down from my eyes. I thanked Baba and i had Udi with water and I also mixed Udi with a little coconut oil and applied where I had pain. I got well by less than a week’s time. I had done all sorts of medical tests and everything showed I did not have any health problem. I know it was Sai Who helped me, and I believe Sai wanted me to take His path, and follow Him. I know He will always be there for me. Thank You Baba. Thank you all who have made this page as a new ray of hope and belief for many who were distressed like me.

Sai Baba In My Life

Anonymous devotee from India says: First of all I would like to thank the blog members for giving people an opportunity to spread Baba’s love to all. This is like today’s Satcharitra. I am an ardent devotee of Sri Sai Baba from past 7 years and came very close to Baba in recent months. I really cannot think a day without Him. Thank You for choosing me. I have to share an experience I am going through and how Baba is with me.

In march 2013, My husband was given a onsite project because of which he left the company he was working for and joined the new company. I also left my job for the same reason and the onsite project got cancelled. He waited there for 4 months and nothing happened. We felt very low and depressed. He decided to join another company and he also got an onsite offer. We put chits in front of Baba and asked His permission. He said “yes” and asked Him again, if we would travel immediately. He said “wait”. According to Baba ji we have waited for 3 months and started losing hope. I decided to read Sai Satcharitra and completed it in 7 days. The next week my husband got an offer to Netherlands and we then thought everything is on track, but the project their got cancelled and they asked to wait.

Now I have started my Sai Nav Guruvar Vrat and my husband finished reading Sai Satcharitra. Now there is again a proposal from Netherlands and the client has asked to wait for a week. I also follow Baba on question and answer page every day. Today I cried and told Baba that if you come in any form to me (which I have been asking from many days) then You will definitely give us this offer. In the evening i was sitting alone in the verandah feeling low. One car came and stopped in front of my house which had Sai Baba photo and “Om Sai Ram” written on it. I believe in You Baba, and I know You will not leave me abandoned. I promised You that I will post this experience once the offer Is finalised, but I am doing it before because You know what Your kids want and You will definitely do that when we have faith in You. Thank You Baba and we love You so much. I cannot have a day without chanting Your name. “Om Shri Sachidanand Samartha Sadguru Sainath Maharaj Ki Jai”. Sai Ram blesses everybody.

Sai Took His Portion Of Chocolate Barfi

Sai Brother Abhay from India says: Namasakar. I am Abhay Gokhale from Bhopal and I am sharing one of my experiences of Shirdi.

In February 2012, I visited Shirdi with my wife and daughter. Before leaving to Shirdi from Bhopal, it came to my mind that Sai wants Prasad (Chocolate Barfi) from Bhopal itself. I went to market for purchasing sweets. I asked the shopkeeper the rate of chocolate Barfi, he told me the rate which was very high than other sweets. I told him to give Barfi for Rs 80/-. He kept the sweets on weighing scale, and then I saw the quantity was very less. I told him to increase it for Rs 150/-, now the quantity was sufficient.

We all reached Shirdi and before going to Samadhi Mandir from hotel, I asked my wife to take the box of sweets, which we brought from Bhopal. My wife asked me whether to remove the cello tape. I told her not to remove cello tape, because in Samadhi Mandir when we offer Prasad, the priest only touches the Prasad and they don’t open it there at Samadhi and return it to devotees. We all reached in front of Samadhi, my wife gave the box of sweets to the priest and he just touched the sweets box there at Samadhi and returned it to my wife. After Darshan we came back to our hotel room and then I asked my wife to give me Prasad which we offered at Samadhi (Chocolate Barfi). To our surprise and miracle of Sai Baba, when she opened the box of sweets it was just half in the quantity. How it was happened when the priest didn’t open the cello tape. It was the miracle and blessings of Sai Baba. He took His portion of Chocolate Barfi and therefore He sent me a thought in Bhopal to increase the quantity of Chocolate Barfi. Om Sai Jai Jai Sai.

  10. Sai Rescues Devotee from Distress

    I know a Sai devotee for eight years, who is a frequent visitor to Sri Sai Spiritual Centre. He had met me many times to talk about Sri Sai. Although we were meeting often, may be after 1993, I did not see him for quite some time. When I did meet him on the road, I enquired about his health as he looked very pale and run down. He told me that he had been suspended by his office a year back on some false allegations and no enquiry had been conducted so far. He also added that he had a 88-year old mother, wife and a daughter of marriageable age and that he was struggling for existence.

    No Sai or God was coming to his rescue in spite of his daily prayers. I told him "Have patience. Sai is always with you to help you. He is more concerned about you than you are about your family. Have firm faith in Him." He did not appear to be convinced and continued to look dejected. Meanwhile, in spite of his repeated representations, his office never cared to conduct an enquiry even after two years. I had thought he might not meet me again. Surprisingly, he turned up one day to convey the information that he was able to get his daugh­ter married with his brother's help. However, Sai was not helpful, he remarked in his reinstatement.

    I told him that it was only by Sai's grace that he could get his daughter married in the midst of his hardships and in the same way his other problem would be solved by Baba. Only he should wait patiently for His help. He countered by saying that he had no faith in God and it had become a hand-to-mouth existence for him and that he had decided to end his life. I told him it was unwise to take such a sinful decision, and reminded him about Sai's words that by suicide one's problems will not get solved as one had to be reborn again to suffer hardships. I asked him to stand before Sai, pray and cry for His mercy. "He is Sabka Malik and bound to help His devotees". I also gave him Sai Udhi, suggesting his chanting Sri Sai Ashtothra daily after bath, taking a little udhi mixed in water as Sai theertha'.

    Meanwhile, I came to know that his benefactor, his brother, suddenly passed away.

    In July, 1966, a miracle happened. The devotee came to tell me that through a well-wisher, he had approached an M.R who, after listening to his pathetic condition, promised to take up his case with the Minister concerned. Within a week, he came back again to inform me that the M.R had asked him to meet the Minister personally. But he could meet the Minister after an unsuccessful attempt, a week later. When he met the Minister, the latter told him that he had studied his case file and as he had no time to spare, he should answer 'yes' or 'no' the following questions :

    • A: Have you misappropriated Government money?

      b: Have you ever misbehaved with your superiors?

      c: Have you stolen anything from the office?
      The devotee answered 'no' to the queries. When the Minister asked him how he could believe him. The devotee answered politely : "Sir, on my honor, in the name of my Guru, Shirdi Sai Baba, I can swear that I am telling you the truth only, I am undergoing great hardships. Sir, believe me, my wife and aged mother have no food to eat and I am almost begging from my well-wishers. However, permit me to say that I cannot satisfy human beings, but, if you take me to Shirdi, my Gurusthan, there I will swear at the Samadhi of my Sadguru that I am speaking the truth only and nothing but the truth. Believe me Sir, I have sent back my pregnant daughter to her in-laws, as I cannot attend to her in my present plight."

      After the narration, he told me: "Puttanna, I was not myself when I was talking to the Minister. I could see the Minister's eyes welling up with tears. Nay, I was seeing Baba Himself in the guise of the Minister, showering His grace on His down-trodden devotee."

      On hearing me, the Minister without any further words, noted on the case file: "Reinstate and report at once."

      Within a week, he got a letter from his office asking him to report for duty immediately. Later, he came to convey the joyous news, but was unable as he was overwhelmed by emotion. With tears rolling down his cheeks, he prostrated before Sai Baba's photo and then getting up slowly cried out loudly: Sai, Sai, Sai… for a while. Regaining his composure, he whispered to me: "Through Sai's ever-merciful grace, I have reported for duty yesterday. Sai is really great."

      This narration is a very recent saga of a humble devotee, who in his own way reposed faith in the Loka Guru, Sai, who under any conditions, will not let down his devotees. Say Sai jaikar to Sri Sai thousand times and in thousand ways. He is ever with us. Only when we look at Him, He will look at us. To get at Him, as Sai Himself has said, no elaborate worship is required. Simply uttering His sweet name "Sai" or chanting "Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai", one is sure to cross the ocean of samsara and reunite with Him. So, wherever you may be, in whatever condition you are, remember Sai, Sai and Sai alone and be happy.

However, for the problems that my family and I are facing for past few years have increased considerably…Of late, I have been feeling very low due to this..Baba, I am trying to be patient and wait for your mercy but I am finding it difficult to remain hopeful now.. I pray to you to give me strength to face this problem with courage and remain positive..help me to get over the negativity crept in ….baba help me.

    Pleaee tell me what should I do
    Yesterday I cried a lot. Im in much pain. No one does me good. I feel now everything got over.
    My brothers wife gives me lot of pain through my brother.
    I'm marriageable age but my brother got married to her whom my family dont wanted from before. Before marriage she told my brother false things n provoked him to beat n give me bad words n did bad wd my family. He said she changed then my family made his marriage with her not from heart. I did good to her everytime. Why did she do this to me..
    Infront of people she do drama of being good and telling my brother the false stuff that he should hate me. Yesterday again she did. Im sharing my bad pain with you all
    My life is in pain. I dont feel like living. I beg you all please tell me what to do.

    • Your brother has no rights to abuse you physically or vocally. Send him to live with his wife separately. You should stop depending on your brother for his love and affection and see what you can do for yourself. There is no point feeling helpless. It takes more courage to die than live. So why not live ? You should stop bothering about your brother and stand up for yourself. Dying is not a solution. Stop self pitying yourself and start living

    • Om sai ram…Dear devotee don't panic and don't do stupid thing, just pray sai, whenever your brother or sister in law comes to hurt you shout loudly (om sai ram, om sai ram) until they stop. Do it daily, sai will take care. Chant sai name.

    • Dear Sai devotee… no one has really any right abuse anyone…
      I would a suggest you to do Saisatchritra daily andxcomplete it in a week.
      I can understand your pain. I was not abused physically but of course orally by my mother-in-law and it had become a living hell after a while, one day that was the limit of my coping and I fought back couldn't take it anymore. I left the place but my husband convinced me to come back. My heart was still in a lot of pain and then one day I started reading Satcharitra and completed in a week… within a short period of time we started living away and my worries of that abuse came to an end. I thank Sai a million times for that. No one can understand other than Sai. So, have courage and start living your life with Sai 's blessings.

  27. Dear SAI devotees please someone give me a suggestion. Today is my 5th vrat. I was not feeling well so I asked through this blog if I have to continue my vrat. BABA gave answer through one of the devotee telling to continue the vrat which I did today. But I was not happy. By mistake my mil threw the coconut water which I offered to BABA and also the water with which I did abhishekam. Generally after the abdhishekam I will drink the water and milk. But she threw it in the sink. Today afternoon I went to temple for arti which I was doing from st vrat. I went at 12:00 but by that time half of the arti was over. These 2 incidents disappointed me. On the vrat day at evening I lit the diya and than have my food.(of course I eat fruits and drink milk until evening). But now as I wanted to lit diya my periods started. Now should I consider today's vrat or not? BABA please give me an answer through any devotee. Im confused please some one suggest me if I have to consider today's vrat or not

    • if u read baba vrat katha then u can count this vrat.tell any body from your family lit lamp for u ,always try to stay positive ,as u know our baba is very simple and baba don't give importance to ritual ,only require true love.om sai ram

    • Its all in your heart 🙂 Remember the coconut which broke in Sai Satcharitra and baba said the coconut was given by me and broken by me i am the doer hence its the same in yourcase today. If your heart isnt happy pls redo it next week. You started on a confused note hence it ended in a confused note. I am the same person who asked you to continue your vrat. Om Sai Ram !!!!!!!!

  28. Om sai ram im a small devotee of my sai ma recent days im very much close to sai baba, and every day my works starts with this holy page and and other sayings of shridi saibaba sayings in tamil.
    Today i want to post my very big incident in my life and very important day also, Becoz exactly one week ( last week ) i.e. wednesday nite around 2 clock i down know whether i was a dream or not but i was scarred by some bad sprit opend my room door its approaching me and some one is safe guarded me and i was in trouble and resisting myself and im going backwards to safe guard me. after wards i was awake and ckeched my door its was closed and time i was around 2.30am.
    Then afterwards i become sick on that day stomach infection and it was unbearable pain to me like abdomen pain , fever, stomach ache, and full body pain, i almost manage to go office on last thursday becoz every week go and worship at baba temple i never skip any of thursdays for the last 2 years, so last week managed to get ready to officer but i cant so i taken leave and with the pain I completed my pooja at home itself now only things started i become very sick and every hour i drunk “udhi “with water and milk but i couldnt recover fom boby pain very much body pain and fever. after wards i manager to watch evening arthi live dharshan of sai baba though of i will recover but not with lots of stomach pain i watched baba arthi then red sai satcharithra but no improvement, then altast i went to doctors place and had medicated that to not cured i could not even stand at hospital line to go doctor room that much stomach pain. the next day friday i manager to wen office with the lots of question on me y baba rescue me and not cured me and i asked one of my friend too she sais baba has helped u and he rescued u from a big problem thats what u was suffered in health problem then i console myself then asusual i went to my baba temple to ask baba y u made me to suffer like that and y this was happed on that too on thursday? and i finished my workship and back to my home this day nite on friday early morning around 4.30 am in my dream my grand mother im very much close to her still she will come to my dream Frequently(she was my next mother expired 9 year back) took me one near by temple and send to me stand in a queue where in that queue one girl like me my age standing before me and she got blessed from one old age saint literally saibaba where we can see like old rare collections of shridi saibab . he was sitting as same like in the image sitting near one tree in the next person in the queue my term has come I appeared in front of baba he puts his hand on me and on my chin and blessed me then immediately he asked me dhaikshana from me then I turned and got money (coins)from my grand mom and we left from baba temple then my grand ma left me upto my house door and she disappeared.
    This way baba blessed me and cleared my sin in name of dhaikshana and he took my sin. In this way in so happy that baba has blessed me and listed and concerned about my prayers thank you baba for all ur presences.
    Im stating to all sai baba devotees pls belive baba he the only GOD listening our prayers and he will show his presence at any point of time and when ever we called him to rescue us.

  30. A Short Biography of Shree Swami Samarth
    *****Maharudrarao Deshpande*****
    Near Ambejogai in Beed District, Maharashtra, there is a village called Kaej. In
    this village there stayed a Rigvedi Brahmin named Maharudrarao Deshpande. He was
    very rich. The Nizam of Hyderbad had gifted him land. Unfortunately though, the
    Government seized his land. He tried his best to get his land released but he failed in
    his attempt. In the nearby Beed regime there was a saint. Deshpande took ‘Darshan’ of
    this saint and weeping before him, narrated his woes. The saint advised Deshpande to
    go to Akkalkot.
    Therefore, Deshpande came to Akkalkot and stood before Sri Swami Samarth
    with folded hands. Before Deshpande could narrate his woes Sri Swamiji said, “Go to Hyderbad where Char Minar is located. Your land will be released”. Deshpande was
    surprised to hear Sri Swamiji’s words. He took permission from Sri Swamiji and went to
    Hyderbad. Same day, The Government had given an order to release his land.
    Deshpande came back again to Akkalkot and prostrated at the lotus feet of Sri Swamiji.
    Till the end of his life, he remained devoted to Sri Swamiji.

    *****Govind Mohite*****
    In Marathawada, near Dharashiva, there is a village called Kajale. In this village
    a gentleman named Govind Mohite stayed. He was a devotee of Sri Swamiji. Once he
    came to Sri Swamiji and started praying, “Maharaj, my house-hold expenditure has
    gone up. How to maintain my family with respect? What shall I do? ”. Sri Swamiji said,
    “Dig a well in your field and cultivate sugarcane crop as well as haldi”. Mohite replied,
    “I have dug up a number of wells in the field, but there is no water”. To this, Sri
    Swamiji said, “Dig up the well between Audumbar Tree and Peepal Tree”.
    Mohite dug up the well between Audumbar and Peepal Trees But still he did not
    get water. So Mohite went running to Sri Swamiji, who said, “Break the head of that
    black elephant (Black Stone) and you will get water”. Therefore, Mohite went back to
    the field and broke the black stone and plenty of water started flowing. By the kind
    grace of Sri Swamiji, he started reaping good harvest of sugarcane and haldi. Thus his
    worries disappeared.
    This way by his miraculous works Sri Swamiji removed the poverty and
    difficulties of innumerable people. Even today a number of devotees experience the
    kind grace of Sri Swamiji in their difficulties.
