Sai Baba Saved Devotee's Mother From Cancer - Anonymous Devotee

Baba pulled me towards Him during my teenage and has helped me and my family through many difficulties over the years. But, my most recent experience is the one I am most thankful for. I cannot thank Baba enough for this. My Amma has been a BP patient for a long time but was able to keep it under control until a few months back. Her BP suddenly shot up badly with breathlessness and fluid accumulation. The cardiologist we went to told us to see a nephrologist as he suspected some kidney damage.

We went to a nephrologist last week. He gave some tests and after seeing her reports, he told us she has to undergo a biopsy. The moment we heard the word biopsy, we got very worried, as in most cases doctors suggest a biopsy only to rule out cancer. Also, he told her to undergo some urine tests, which when I read on the internet were all to screen for cancer. Her protein content in the urine was very high, which in some cases is due to cancer cells. I was first of all very scared about how painful the biopsy might be to my Amma as she is quite aged and then I was totally paranoid about what the reports might hold. I can’t explain how much worried I was until I got the reports.

I was not able to eat, not able to concentrate on my work and I kept bursting into tears. My Mother also became dull during those days as she guessed what the tests were for. Also, both her parents had succumbed to cancer, so could not fool her about any of the tests. My only solace was our Dear Baba. I kept crying and praying to Baba that it should not be cancer, but let it be some issue, which is treatable by medicines. On the day of the biopsy, when we went out of our house, a black dog came in front of us, and immediately we were relieved. We knew Baba is with us. Needless to say, the biopsy was done by a very good doctor and was totally painless without any complications. She was discharged the same day. From the day of the biopsy till the reports came I kept reading this blog and other sites about Baba’s Leelas and it gave me immense relief. Also, I refrained from reading more information on the internet about possible diseases.

Baba kept leading me to experiences, which were about curing cancer and similar situations like mine where the Devotees were praying for health reports free from cancer. I can’t explain how much relief reading all those experiences gave me. Without Baba, I could not have survived those days. The doctor told us the report would come on Thursday, which gave me the utmost happiness and relief because I knew Baba is taking care of everything. But, when I called the lab on Thursday they said it was not ready and will come only on Friday. I was disappointed but did not lose my heart. I knew Baba will not leave us even if it comes the next day. But, I tried again on a different number for the report. And, by Baba’s grace, they transferred my call to the doctor, who did the biopsy. He told me the printed report is yet to come, but the verbal report has come. And, I asked him with bated breath what it was. He told me there is NO malignancy. All the tests for cancer were negative. I asked him time and again not to hide anything from me and to tell me the truth. He said there was NO cancer.

I cannot explain how relieved I was and I burst into tears. I can never ever thank Baba enough for this. I had gone through hell until that moment and suddenly Baba brought back my world to me. My Amma is everything to me and I cannot imagine her going through any pain in life. Baba saved my Amma. I love You so much, Baba. There is some damage to her kidneys, but the doctor said it is treatable. We have our appointment tomorrow with the doctor again. I am sure Baba will cure all my Amma’s ailments. I am not worried about anything because Baba is there with us. Jai Sairam.

Hetalji, I want to narrate one more experience, which happened during this time. Please edit it or post it as a separate experience as you wish. When I was worried about my Amma’s reports, I wanted to visit a Sai Temple near my office. But, I didn’t know how to get there and my husband said he would be late that day and cannot take me there. It was a Wednesday, the day before I got to know the report results. There is a girl, who sits opposite me in my office and I had seen Baba’s picture on her computer as wallpaper. I somehow felt she would know the way to this temple. Till that day I had not spoken to her much. I asked her and immediately said yes. She said she would accompany me halfway to the temple. I told her about my Amma and she said not to worry, Baba will take care. She got down halfway after explaining the way and I went to the temple. I prayed to Baba to save my Amma and spent a lot of time there that day and left everything to Dear Baba.

The next day, which was a Thursday, I got the report results as mentioned above. And this girl saw me burst into tears after speaking to the doctor. I told her I want to go to the same temple today also and want to Thank Baba for saving my Amma. I told her she can come with me to the temple if she wished. She was doubtful and said no. Then, I offered to drop her at the train station on my way to the temple. So, she came with me. Then, she suddenly opened up to me about her life and said she was not living with her husband for the past two years. She moved away from her husband, while she was pregnant due to problems and her husband has not come to see her daughter even once until this day. I consoled her saying things will be alright soon by Baba’s Grace. And, then she told me she had not been to a Baba temple for the past two years for this reason as she was angry with Baba! I could not believe my ears, see how Baba had chosen me to bring her back to Him!

Baba’s Leelas are uncountable. She said I will come too with you today to the temple and will go henceforth! I was awestruck by all this. So, we both went to the temple with some chocolates to distribute as Prasad to the Devotees. I thanked Baba, and though how much ever I thank it was not enough. With Baba’s grace, I distributed Prasad for the first time that too on a Thursday. I cannot explain how happy I felt doing it. With Baba’s Grace, I want to do it time and again. I am sure Baba will bring Happiness to my colleague’s Life again soon. Baba, please forgive me if I said anything wrong while narrating. Thank You so much Baba for everything. Please continue to hold Your children’s hands always, please forgive us for our stupid mistakes. Thank You so much Baba for everything. Om Sairam !!

  7. SAI BABA’S LOVE FOR CHILDREN

    Sai loved children a lot. Though there are not many leelas in Sai Satcharitra regarding Baba’s love for Children, we can read many such leelas in “Life of Sai Baba, Devotees Experience of Sai Baba and also from Sai Leela Masik. Here is one such story as to how Sai Loved children.

    Shankar Haribhau Chaubal was born on 13-8-1910 in Dhanu (Thane district). He was the son of Haribhau V. Chaubal so he met Baba when his father stayed in Shirdi for long periods of time. He was too young to remember the first stay there but he vividly remembers the second stay in 1917 when he was 7 years old. After Kakad Arati his mother would go home and prepare Zunka Bhakari for Baba every day as he would come to take Bhiksha daily from their home. The children would fight amongst themselves as to who would give Bhiksha to Baba. His mother solved the issue by making each child take turns. Shankar would run to the Dwark Mai before Baba arrived from his rounds and wait there. Baba would pick him up and seat him on his lap for some time, cuddle him and often times wipe his nose. Baba would give him delicious food that he had received, the tell him to go and play.

    Once Shama called Shankar and said in a stern voice, “Boy you are very dirty so from tomorrow don’t stand next to the railing as Baba picks you up and has to wipe your nose. The next day Shankar did go to the Dwarka Mai but quietly sat in the Sabha Mandap, Baba sent a devotee to fetch him but he refused to go as Shama was next to Baba. The devotee was sent again by Baba, and when he refused, the devotee picked him up and brought him to Baba. Baba sat him on his lap and in a gentle voice said, “Bhau are you angry with me today? Why are sitting so far away” Then Shankar told him what Shama had said. “Arre Shymia just as you are my child so is Bhau. If I don’t take of my children who will? So dont be angry with him” and pacified Shama since then Shama didn’t object to Shankars going to Baba.

    CONTINUATION..
    The story of a Washer-man
    Lord Sripad Srivallabh went to the riverbank daily for bathing. An old washerman
    regularly went to the same riverbank to wash clothes. He saluted Lord Sripad
    Srivallabh everyday without fail as he passed him and then continued with his routine.
    One day, a Muslim King who ruled the other side of the riverbank came there along with
    his queen and entourage of elephants, horses, palanquin and soldiers for sporting in water. The washerman was simply dumbfounded watching this royal retinue. He kept
    thinking throughout the day, ‘I have to struggle hard, but how fortunate is this King to
    enjoy this life! Where is this type of happiness in my destiny?’
    The washer-man was fully engrossed in his thoughts, when Lord Sripad
    Srivallabh arrived there. However, the washer-man did not notice his arrival until Lord
    Sripad Srivallabh asked him what he was thinking so deeply? Hearing the words of Lord
    Sripad, the washer-man was simply agitated and said “Oh Lord! My life is a total waste
    compared to that of this king. I am not sure what merits this king have accumulated to
    enjoy this kind of happiness.”.
    The compassionate Lord replied, “You have struggled for your existence through
    out your life. Now you are seized with the mode of passion. You cannot attain
    emancipation until you enjoy all the happiness. You will certainly enjoy all the royal
    pleasures. So tell me whether you would like to enjoy these pleasures in this life or in
    the next life? ”.
    The washer-man said “Oh Lord! How much royal pleasure can I enjoy in this old
    age. If I can get that royal pleasure in my next life, I would be very much pleased. But
    despite enjoying all royal pleasures, I would never forget you”. Lord Sripad said, “As
    you wish. In your next life you would take birth in the house of a Muslim emperor at
    Vaidurya nagar (Beedar, Karnataka). There you would enjoy all sorts of royal pleasures.
    In that birth too you will get my divine blessings (Darshan45). At that time I would be
    wandering in my reincarnation as an ascetic named Narasimha Saraswati”. Granting the
    boon, Lord Sripad left. The washer-man returned home singing and praising Lord
    Sripad. In due time, the washer-man died and was born in the house of the Muslim
    Emperor at Bidar as mentioned by Lord Sripad Srivallabh.
    In Kuravpur, Lord Sripad Srivallabh, had advised a Brahmin woman Ambika to
    observe the religious vow of Pradosh (Shivopasana) and also had granted a boon that in
    her next birth she would get a son worthy and well versed in divine knowledge like him.
    So to fulfil both these promises, Lord Sripad decided to end this incarnation and
    undergo samadhi46. In Kuravpur he had a large number of devotees. He decided to lead

    them all on the path of true devotion and then started preparing for his departure. He
    selected a place for his samadhi and on Ashwin Krishna Dwadashi47 day, he went into
    live samadhi. His disciples built a tomb in that place and installed the Padukas76 of Lord
    Sripad Srivallabh. In Datta-Samprayada48, this day is celebrated as
    Gurudwadashi with great devotion. Even today, devotees experience the
    Divine presence and grace of Lord Sripad Srivallabh.
    Eternal Incarnation of Lord Dattatrey
    Lord Dattatrey incarnated in Satya Yuga49 and maintained that form eternally.
    Similarly, Lord Sripad Srivallabh, the reincarnation of Lord Dattatrey maintained his
    Divine grace on earth fulfilling the wishes of his devotees even after taking samadhi.
    Later he reincarnated himself as Lord Narasinha Saraswati. The devotees still
    experience the divine manifestation of this later incarnation.
    The incarnation of Lord Dattatrey never ends. For the welfare of the

U give everything only to the people who have everything is't?U dont give anything to people who dont have anything right?   43. Very beautiful experiences! Baba helped your mother so nicely to help remove the cancer from her, it is likely there might have been cancer, but Baba took it away. Also, Baba did such a great thing by choosing you to help that girl come back to Baba. Baba always plans something even though we might think of some plan, Baba's plan is always the best way to follow. Om Sai Ram!
