Devotee Experience – Vinod

A staunch devotee of Sai Baba and a family friend of mine went to Shirdi for darshan of Samadhi of Sai Baba about 15 days ago (i.e. around last week of May 2008). He got a good chance of going to Shirdi four times in one and half month. This clearly shows blessings of Sai Baba. To elaborate more on this topic I will share his personal experience in which His (and of course ours) Beloved Sai saved him from jaws of death. I have heard the incident directly from him and would present before you all.Another point which I would like to highlight here is a strange sentence heard by father while he was asleep the previous night when this news came to our notice. It was मरने वाले मरते नहीं मरने वालो की मदद करते हैं (Marne Wale Marte Nahi, Marne Walo Ki Madad Karte Hain meaning people who were to die did not die, instead helped others to die). This was not understood by any of us. After hearing such sentence through him, we were slightly frightened as we took it a sign of death of somebody. I am not sure whether this particular sentence has some connection or linking with the below incident or not but……I leave it to the readers now to decide.The devotee and three of his friends went to Shirdi from Bombay and had a good darshan of Sai Baba. While returning from Shirdi a friend of his was driving the car. It was a new branded car. On the way the friend of the devotee got tired and asked the devotee to drive the car. So they halted on the way and got out of the car to relax for sometime. Meanwhile a small truck came in full speed from the back. It slightly dashed the car though it was not much damaged by the grace of Sai Baba. They all caught hold of the driver of the truck and found him totally drunk. All of the friends wanted to beat that driver but the devotee requested them to let him go.They all thanked Sai Baba for His help in this little fraction of time and proceeded. After going ahead they saw the truck dashed to a tree. They found the drunk driver flooded with blood. The power of the alcohol had subsided and the driver understood his mistake. All of them understood that the driver met his fate and safely reached to their respective homes. Had not this slight fatigue paused their journey for a while, all of them were sure to be thrown in a deep valley. But was to happen to the devotees of Lord Sai??
