Blessings of Shirdi Sai Baba

Anonymous Devotee from USA says: Let me introduce myself as a devotee of Sai Baba, who has experienced many of Baba's miracles. I will take this opportunity to narrate His most important blessing in my life and a one of my recent experiences.

I started worshipping Sai Baba ji, when I visited India in 2008 and when my Uncle took me to Sai Baba's temple. I was going through a tough time, when my engagement was broken off and visiting Sai Baba ji and listening to His miracles rekindled hope in me. I came back to US and found that there was a Sai Baba temple near my workplace and I then made it a point to visit it every day. This gave me a lot of peace and helped me get out of my depression. During the same time period, my family started searching a groom for me. The search went for quite a few months, but we could not find a suitable groom in US. One day, I got extremely saddened by the state of affairs and left my office in the afternoon to visit Baba ji and share my worries with Him. I sat in Sai Baba’s temple for an hour and poured out all my worries to Him. I then went back to my office and found that I had received an email from a potential suitor, who met my expectations. I also considered this as a blessing from Sai Baba ji and started talking to this person. After many months of talking, we decided to meet. Before meeting Him, I went to Sai Baba’s temple and prayed Him to give me a sign if this person was right for me. After my prayers, as soon as I was about to leave the temple, a lady approached me and gave me a flower saying that she felt like giving me this flower. I thanked Sai Baba ji for His sign and went ahead to meet this person. We liked each other and after many meetings, we decided to marry. I am happy to say now that this marriage was a blessing from Sai Baba ji and my husband is a very caring and loving husband.

Last two three posts were all brief experiences and this one too consists of brief experiences only. One is an experience of Shirdi trip and other two are experiences rather consequences of prayers to and blessings of Lord Sai Baba.

Sai Knows When To Give And What To Give

Sai Sister Taraka ji from India says: This is Taraka from India. I would like to share my experience with Baba. I have so many interesting experiences, but I would like to share recent one. I and my husband believe in Sai a lot. Every year, 2 times we go to Shirdi. We feel very lucky, when He calls us to Shirdi. I don’t know how to start this experience. When we went to Shirdi last year in Nov 2010, we went to temple at afternoon Aarthi time. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to enter into the Aarthi hall. Only 2 members left before us. They stopped the line to enter into the Bhajan line. I almost cried for not getting chance to sing Aarthi in front of Baba Idol. We were so disappointed. After that we had Darshan and we came back.

Sharing few more experiences of devotees in today's post. All experiences posted and shared on this blog preaches only one thing that Lord Sai Baba is with His devotees whenever they call Him.

My Experiences During Job Search In 2008

Sai Devotee from UK says: I am follower of Great Lord Sai Baba since my childhood. I go to Sai Baba temple often on Thursdays and pray Baba every day during pooja. My life does not start without chanting Baba's name. Even we put my loveable son’s name also Sai, so that we get the opportunity to chant Lord Baba’s name many times in a day.

I came to UK in 2008. I was feeling alone because my husband was in different location. It was new place, new locality and all. But due to Baba's grace, He settled everything for me before I landed in UK.

I got a nice PG and at the PG main entrance, Lord Sai Baba statue is there. I recollected the reatness of Baba and realized He is there before and arranged everything for me in a new country. I got many job calls and opportunities, but it's taking too much to get the offer letter in hand. One day I felt upset and cried in front of the Baba's statue to help me for the job settlement. To my surprise, the next day I got a call from one HR with the offer letter and joining date confirmed. This shows how our beloved Baba is kind hearted and how He helps His devotees. I am sorry for sharing this experience very late.

Baba Cleared My Sister's Exam

Sai Brother Ashish ji from India says: I am Ashish and I have felt in-numerable experiences of Sai Baba in last 2 years. I want to tell that Baba listens to our every desire and takes care of us.

I have always wanted to post my own experiences about Lord Sai's grace, but this incident is related to my sister, who is currently studying in Canada.

It was her final certification exam and she was much tensed about clearing it as the exam fee was very much (75000 INR) and she could not have enrolled for it again for a long time. I assured her that she would definitely clear it and asked her to put her 100% effort in studies. I asked her about her exam timings and the moment her exam started I sat and started praying for her in India. Somehow I was able to meditate on Sai very soon and very deeply as it was His grace. I prayed to Baba to go there and appear for my sister's exam. Her exam went on for 3 hours and I kept preying for her on and off for the 3 hours.

Following is heart throbbing experience of Sai brother Sai Varun ji. I was left speechless after reading this experience. It is one more experience of how kind is Lord Sai Baba to His devotees.

This is a wonderful incident that took place with me in Dec 2010. I am an entrepreneur, 25 years of age, currently in Bangalore, but brought up in Delhi. I am a devotee of Sai since 1999. Baba has been with me since then. But there are sometimes when you feel that you are missing the connection. The Story I am narrating is one of those times, when I started feeling that the link is missing and something is wrong. When you start doubting and your faith starts diminishing, Baba does something to bring you back on track in His own sweet ways and makes you feel that He was always there. But it’s you who was running away. Before Writing I prayed to Him that I am incapable of writing this incident, thus please write it the way you want it to be written, so that your message reaches to many people like me. Now I will continue with the story as it is about Sai & only Sai. I wanted to apply for German Visa. I already had US Visa and wanted to have a trip to US after 4 days. I wanted to go to Germany by taking a halt as my flights were via Frankfurt. I am based in Bangalore and wanted to apply for a German Visa. One needs to go To VFS Bangalore for Documentation Check & appointment scheduling, after that an interview takes place in Chennai.

Koti Koti Pranm to Sai Baba. During first half of year 2009, I was facing lots of challenges with my job. I was actively looking for a job. Later by Baba’s grace, I got a wonderful job with excellent role, work culture, and salary (15% hike from previous salary, which was nearly impossible during this recession) with high figure (which I thought in my mind, got without any negotiation). During this tough time, I kept 9 Thursday Sai vrat. Also I was reading Sai devotee experience regularly on net and sometime I asked Baba questions/His advice at http://www.shirdi-sai-baba.com/.

Always trip to Shirdi is joyful and full of divine experiences. The following experience of Sai sister Padma ji is an exception. Though she had wonderful trio to Shirdi, somewhere there was physical pain. I guess such suffering in the fomr of physical pain was one of Lord Sai Babaji's unique method to wipe off our bad karma. This is my opinion and would love to know what is yours.

As promised to my dear Baba, I would like to narrate my divine experiences at Shirdi this time. It has been my cherished dream to do the Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan in the Parayan hall at Shirdi. So this time, I got a chance to visit Shirdi along with my younger daughter and co-sisters and we all decided to complete the Parayan in 3 days. As always this time too before leaving for Shirdi, I wrote down all my deepest desires of visiting all those places where Baba had gone in Shri Sai Satcharitra and prayed for a safe and blissful journey.

We took the Volvo bus from Mumbai on Friday. We were enjoying our journey listening to Sai Bhajans. The bus halted at Sinnar for 5 minutes; where I got down to stretch my legs. Just then I felt a prick in my left toe and all of a sudden I had a shooting pain extending to my thigh. I was almost in tears. It has always been my practice to carry Udi with me wherever I go. So I immediately applied it and also took in some with water. I also gave some Reiki healing. But the pain seemed just unbearable. Then finally we reached Shirdi around 9 PM. Then somebody suggested us to go to the Sansthan Hospital. The doctor there gave an injection and some medicines, but the pain failed to subside. My relative even suggested returning back to Mumbai, but I was very sure that I wanted to do the Parayan and took it as Baba's way of testing me. I was crying in pain and had a sleepless night. Next morning a local doctor told it is the bite of a particular insect called 'Vinchoo' and suggested that such insect bites would be best cured by Mantra Shakti, though he gave me an injection. A local fellow suggested to go to the 'Veerabhadrappa' temple in Rahata (mentioned in Chap.5 Sai Satcharitra).

Dear Sai Readers, herewith i am sharing few more experiences. I personally loved the first miracle, it shows how loving and caring is our Lord.

Sai Baba Reminded Me Of My Vow

Sai Baba Fulfills My Small Wish Which Gave Me Immense Joy

I am residing in UAE. I experienced a small but sweet miracle yesterday and I was eager to share the same with all of you. It may or may not sound important to many, but I have no words to describe my happiness.

Here in Dubai we just have one location, where there are two temples dedicated, one to Lord Krishna and the other to Lord Shiva. The Lord Shiva temple premise however is not solely dedicated to Him alone. We have most of our deities presiding there. Amongst that recently about a year back, they have separated the main hall where in they have dedicated a portion of the hall and installed a life size statue of our beloved Baba as well. Now there are regular Aartis and Mangal Snan being done for Baba.

This life given to us is very difficult to traverse because at every step our bad karmas are with us. Even our shadow leave us in dark, but bad karmas do not leave us. But when we realise grace of Lord Sai Baba in our lives, intensity all situations seem to be decreasing and it becomes easier for us to bear. Following experience of Sai Sister Anu ji says so.

Sai Sister Anu ji from USA says: Dear Hetal ji, It’s a nice blog where everyone can share their experiences. Reading and assimilating these gems helps us to cross this worldly existence and to reach the path of self realization.

I couldn't think of where and how to start speaking about My Lord (My Sai) as me being a mere human. He is our past, present and future. His bones in the tomb are still taking care of us like a tortoise looking after its children sitting on the other banks of the river.

Coming to my life, here it goes: I was a devotee to God since my childhood, but didn't know that we can serve God only with pure devotion and self surrender to Him. I was like a regular human, didn't know how to serve and help others, was adamant, selfish, craving for worldly things etc. Then He came into my life to teach me how to cross the seven seas and to lead me on to self realization path. The thread He used to pull me towards Him is my friend, where she was a great devotee of Baba. Then I started praying and serving Him a lot. Still I can say that my personality didn't change. Then He made me go through hell out of problems, which made me die every day. That is when I realized that serving humanity is serving Him and being and doing good is pure devotion. It changed my life a lot. Now I try to be good, do good, serve people, do not possess feelings like jealousy, selfishness, being adamant etc. So one thing for sure is we'll learn life only in a harder way.

Experience of 4 Year Kid

I live in US and my daughter lives with my parents in India. On my birthday on Apr 7, my parents went to Saibaba Temple and my daughter also went with them. It was time for Palaki Seva for Baba. My daughter wanted to participate in that. My parents allowed her and she hold the Palaki along with other Sai Bhaktas and participated in Palaki procession all through till the end of the procession. They came home after that suddenly my daughter sat down and started talking like this "Baba told me, you are very small to lift the Palaki”. Then my daughter replied, “it is ok Baba. Today is my mother's Birthday, so I wanted to lift the Palaki". My parents first could not understand what she was talking but later understood that my daughter saw Sai Baba and Sai ma talked to her.

We are always stuck to our plans of our life and never ever pay heed to what plans our Lord Sai Baba has for us. We unnecessarily get anxious and start asking fulfillment of our plans from Him without even thinking reason why we are not getting our prayers answered. I have been reading a lot of Sai devotee’s experiences and I got encouraged to post mine too for the first time. I have been a Sai devotee for 12 years now, and His miracles in my life only seem to be increasing. I would not be able to mention all His experiences, but I would like to describe the experiences in the past 10 months.

I lost my job due to recession and I did not have a job for almost 8 months in US. When I actually lost my job in Feb 2010, I was not much tensed since I knew that Sai was there and He would take care of it. But I think that Sai was planning to test my faith and patience. I started applying for new jobs. Months passed, but I never got a call from anyone. Even, if I got a call, it did not turn into any offer. By June/July, my work permit was also in a problem. I was getting very frustrated. I also did Thursday vrat; during that time, but nothing seem to help. Things were only getting worse and I had difficulties paying my bills and my car loan. My friends were only helping me at that time. I started to do small part time jobs, but that was never enough. At one point, I was so much down that I questioned myself if Sai really existed. My situation was so much horrible. I read Shri Sai Satcharitra, but that also did not seem to help either. I was completely devastated, since more problems came one by one. At one point, I even stopped praying to Sai feeling completely hopeless. But I tried to assure myself, and only started to pray to Sai. I stopped all vrats and reading religious books. Since I did not have patience anymore and I was begging Sai to help me. Then I have started using the question/answer website of Baba online, and did everything He asked me to do. For example, if I was asked to break a coconut, visit temple etc, I just went ahead and did it.

He Is Always With Me

I am a married women, still i have no baby. I came to know about Sai Baba through vijay tv serial. One of my colleague told me about Sai vrat for 9 weeks for baby. She asked me do the vrat. She had also done vrat for her daughter to get Mbbs seat. As i longed for baby, i decided to do it. Very next day is started my vrat. From the day i started to read about my Sai Rram through this website. Every thursday i got His darshan unexpectedly (posters, advertisements, so on). I was very happy that He is always with me.

Sai Baba Appeared To Me As His Photograph

When I came here, I saw Sai Baba site and His leelas. I got attracted towards it. I started believing in Baba more and more and used to think that I don’t have any photo of Baba. So I downloaded it from internet. But I wanted a copy of it, so I told my husband to make one copy of that photo. To my surprise, he agreed and made a copy of it and gave it to me. This was because of Baba, because my husband is not so strong believer.

Sai Baba Devotee Experience

Anonymous Devotee says: Om Sai Ram Hetal ji, I have been reading this blog for long time. I have been SAI devotee from childhood. Whenever I feel sad, I read the experiences of SAI devotees and I feel very happy. I want to share my experiences.

I had problem with my visa and couldn't go to office. As the economy was so bad, I was scared I will lose my job and started doing Parayana of Sai Satcharitra. The day I completed parayana, I got my visa approval and went to office without any problems by BABA's grace. After this I had another problem with my health. Again I prayed to Sai Baba, Who is ever merciful to His children. The reports came; I was ok. If we pray sincerely to BABA, He will always be with us and help us in every phase of our life.

Thank You BABA for all your help. I just pray that let Sai shower His blessing on all of us.
